Like I said I'm new myself but I'm using 65ml a and b to get to 1.4 in 80 liters, and that's well into flower, background is 0.7. Bulls will know more mate.

 Super Magnificent Update Times

So the girls are progressing alright, some growing better than others and one that just wouldn't stop stretching! I tried adjusting the light but it seems to have settled now.
We are on Week 7 Day 5 from seed, should have roughly 4 weeks left of full flowering then 1 week of flush before getting cut around the 7th May if all goes according to the given flowering times

My Bluelab pens have finally arrived yesterday after a bit of back and forth with the original seller so I'll calibrate them and start using them pronto tonto
Last feed was yesterday:
A&B = 1ml/l
zym = 1ml/l PH is at 5.9 with an EC of 1 (using cheapo eBay ones)
PK 13/14 = 0.5ml/l
Boost = 1ml/l

Since the plants are quite packed in that space I encountered a little WPM so mixed 20% milk 80% water and misted them with that, then wiped off any excess. Seems to be working a treat :)
Under the almost-a-canopy I was only really removing dying leaves but this time i removed a couple of leaves per plant near the bottom.

As you can see they don't look like they will be yielding anything particularly impressive but I need to remind myself this is still only a second grow, keeping the plants alive til the end is achievement enough for me... for now
Life in the fas lane

These are going to surprise you Fas they look like they will yield pretty well to me. I would up the boost to get the best out of it 2ml a litre at least, it makes no difference to the EC when adding it. Only thing it makes a difference to is your wallet as it is very expensive stuff imo. I have used it often and it does work to a certain extent but has to be used in every feed from the off of flower all the way through to the end. The PK is really what swells the buds get your timings and dosage right with the pk and your notice the difference.

Thanks kbag! I genuinely thought the boost would mess with my EC and I've been very reluctant to add any great amount but I'll up that to 2 - 2.5ml per litre for sure. After Samwise told me to start adding PK i must admit i started to see a considerable difference over a few days.

They're looking really good and healthy, mate. It looks like you'll get a decent crop from them.

Doing great mate, well done. Think you're going to do well. Can't wait to see it in full bloom.

Dem broon spots o' doom

So we are currently on Week 9 day 1 from seed and the plants seem to be progressing nicely for the most part :D

However upon further inspection I'm seeing a couple of changes. The Glueberry's are definitely shorter and bushier and seem to be spouting ambers like crazy but at the top of one of the Glueberry girls I'm seeing these brown spots...

At first i thought the light was too close but the purple haze's are all fine and they're way taller, here is a pic for comparison of size between the 2 strains.

So now maybe I'm thinking the Glueberry's are maturing faster, around the tops and mid section there's a lot of ambers coming through and the leaves are looking more frosty. With the Bluelab pens my ec and ph seem to be fine but they may be getting too many nutes, maybe they should be getting flushed when I'm sitting there firing in feed.

Here's my last feed:
Canna A&B - 1.25ml/l
zym - 1ml/l
PK - 0.75 ml/l Water ph = 6. EC reading = 1
boost - 2.5 ml/l

I'm not too sure on where to go from here feed wise, should i continue as is or cut out the pk now? Do you add pk right up until flush ? According to the flowering times given for each strain these were due for cut around 7th May which would leave me 3 weeks of feed and a weeks flush (or 2 and 2) I think by the looks of it the purple haze is right on track for the 7th but the Glueberry I'm not so sure. So whats your thoughts guys?

They look nice and healthy mate but they look far away from being ready I think.
When were they flipped to 12/12? If you let me know that I will be able to help you out with the feed until the end.

They're all autos mate on 16/8. I bought autos thinking they would be better for a new grower but in reality i wish i just bought photo fems, just feel like i have less control making me second guess everything. In fact a confession at first I thought autos were supposed to be 12/12 from the start so they had like 2 weeks on 12/12 then i switched to 18/6.

The seeds all popped around the 15th feb, I have a note in my book they had all popped into seedlings on the 24th. The Purple Haze auto is Original sensible seeds - stated 70-75 days from seed to harvest (roughly 11 weeks we are on week 9)
The Gluberry OG auto is Dutch Passion with the same stated times but i get the given times are an estimation. Going by the given times they should be getting ready for the flush cycle but the purple haze for sure doesn't look anywhere near that stage however the Glueberry is starting to spout more amber pistils every day.
