Capt... Did you use cortex as a top? I use black with white ontop to reflect. White alone shines light through but I was considering upgrading to kingspan.

yep i used the cortex covers as standard... just popped on with the poppers the root bed always lifted the lids off @ harvest the bed would be solid 6 inch thick full length of the tray, i found that in the early weeks jest a trickle from the pumps feeding was better than opening them rite up !!! i`d start of a trickle slowly increasing the pump flow as the buggers roots hit the spreader.......what ewe gotta remember is your creating a film of nutes along the mat not a flood......its like dirt the first few weeks until the roots established see...gotta let them search btw a fully sturated 4" cube holds a fuk full of water. also i`d never run nft without oxy plus its wiorth its weight in bud imho.Black Grouse wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 9:23 pmCapt... Yeah they don't need a high flow rate at the start. I also add 30ml per tank h2o2 daily as a precaution
