Ok, first of all, thanks for having me in the forum. Not sure if it's against the rules but It'd be nice to swap 1 or two seeds like I do with the FSPR (Free Spore Print Ring). It is a way of growing a few more species without buying 5 or 10 in a pack then only using 1 or 2. If everyone does this with cuttings of seeds then we would all my golden.

I am basically preparing my grow now but I get £70 a week so it's going to be BUDGET!!! If anyone can afford any old equipment it'd b so appreciated in exchange for some of the final product.
I am just deciding on a strain to grow and with what lights.
I know I want something indica as that's what I love but I suffer with depression, insomnia and anxiety and people so any advice?
I also want it to be short and bushy so I'm tempted by an authorised as they seem to have come a long way. If not then some sort of lush maybe even a standard Afghan lush or a fruity kush.
Does anyone know any advantages over CFL over LED? if used CFL before to rEALLY good results considering it was only a 125w or something but I read that LEE's have come a long way and they produce less heat per watt. They are also roughly the same price.
So, given the majority of you are connoisseurs I thought I would ask you. I am great with cacti and if anyone wants any Peruvian Torch or San Pedro cuttings to grow for their beautiful alkaloid let me know!!!
Also does anyone know anything about the UKCSC? T hey provide great documents for each plant if you have less than 9 and it at least let's the court know it's all for medical reasons until the UK stop the war on veg!

i highly suggest you visit the rules page app.php/rules
i think alot of people would advice LED over CFL now days
afghan kush is a strong reliable strain for anyone to start with but dude to your conditions it may well be worth looking at something else

Hi Rabid . .. I'm new to the forums as well & like many growers here I've used both led & cfl. Personally I wouldn't go back to cfl. . I had to use one because of my stealth grow but the difference in your harvest is noticeable. I've moved on to hps now but my led results were better than cfl. Enjoy
