2acres Carnival of the grotesque

Bit later starting this than I wanted to be, but my light decided to shit itself, properly. Did some searching about and now the light is being powered by a nice shiny meanwell driver, not the cheap Chinese poop that marshydro like to use. If any one needs to know, the meanwell xlg-150-h-ab is a straight swap on either the TS1000 or the twin driver TS2000.

Anyway, let's get some info on the strains. First up is Purple Punch by Barneys. Then we have purple queen and honey cream, both RQS and finally we have Double Black and Gigabud both by G13 Labs. Was only planning on running 3 but all 5 popped and here we are.

Gonna be using mud, with amendments, bat shit and probably old timers organic grow and bloom. All 5 have spent the last week under 2 30w cfls but now they're back in the tent under the 150w led. Should be fun seeing how crowded this tent will become. All boring stuff atm, whilst they chuck out some roots and blah blah blah.

Took me about half an hour. Just chopped the leads off the old driver and joined them to the new one with connector blocks. Will change it to proper crimped connectors and heat shrink soon though, its gonna get humid in there.

2 week update

I think the mud I started them in was a bit too hot. Some of the lower leaves are/were burnt to shit. But now they seem to be enjoying it. Nice green new growth. Gonna let these fill their current pots with roots and then chuck em in their final pots.

2 week(ish) update

Just potted the girls(?) up into their final 6.6ltr pots. Going for something a little different, soil wise. I'm giving some multi purpose compost from Aldi a shot. It's enriched with seaweed and nutes and I've chucked in 1 tbsp of guano and 1tbsp of lifecycle. Be interesting to see how they fair in this mud.

Me, being the dickhead I am, mixed up the pots so I have no idea what's what. I know what strains are in there, I just don't know which one is where.
