So, time to put the dynomyco in, get the pot in there and give her a few days to settle in. I'mliking how this strain is vegginf out so far. She has a strong stem and 5-6 nodes already. I may tope her and the next couple of nodes. Don't know if there is a general rule for a maximum node point?

Now watered in and all ready to go. Threw a few more cover seeds around the base to replensih what I had turned in repotting.

Let's see what this super soil can do :-)

She looks to have been bedding her roots in the large pot nicely. Another node upwards I pondered on whether to top her. I always end up going the LST method. So like below you can see where I have placed a little anchor in the soil just deep enough to pull her down and get some light arond the lower branches:

I am quite happy so far. Just a little anxious of my jars running low already. I do have a T5 propogation light coming in the new year which will go into the green cube tent I won, thanks to GR420 and the team :-)

The cover crops have gone a little mad  but I may just turn them in when I top dress prior to flipping to flower.

Shifted my light around a little to make the most of the light coverage. Something Ioverlooked. So just before lights out I rotated everything at 90 degress. This will vover my autos with my old mars light.

Above is what is was before. Squeezed in there until I upgrade for better coverage.

Well yes it does serve a purpose mate:

Nitrogen is necessary for all plant growth. Legumes have the ability to “fix” nitrogen from the air and store it in nodules in their roots. This nitrogen can be released or use by subsequent crops.
...
Cover crops as nitrogen source.
Cover Crop Lb./A *
Cowpea 100-150
Crimson Clover 70-130
Field Pea 90-150
Hairy Vetch 90-200

The hairy vetch highlighted above is in the list I use:

https://www.greenhandorganic.com/buy-no ... cover-crop

I used a ted too much  It's the 1st time I have used it.

Cover crops will also help retain moisture in the upper soil levels too which helps retain the microbes we have in living soil.

Also if you have heard of Michorazae fungi (has loads of different spellings now so I just guess  ) that fungi will have a place to hunker down with the cover crops. If and when they get too crazy and overtake I will just turn them in. Farmers use cover crops to eradicate soil erosion I think it would be.

Here is a good videoI am only half way through myself about living soil:

Everything that is in that link for GHO. 3 all together. It's called cold hardy cover crop, ideal for winter and/or indoor use.
