One thing @GMO said once, always stuck with me. Every healthy leaf that gets pulled off is like a wound site for the plant, to have to heal and use energy up. It also potentially gives way to bud rot issues if you're not dialled in.

Saying that not enough air would land you with mould issues on leafs.

Its weighing up whats best for the plant.

I would strip the underneath. Have you heard of lollipopping?

Yeah Ive read both sides of it so just hard making a decision ha, think I'll stuck with not chopping since it's done so well so far. Wouldn't want to do it and it mess it up I'd be kicking myself.
I've looked into that lollipopping something I'd like to do so maybe on my next grow got a northern lights and a C99 just started currently.

Lolli popping is useful to keep bugs away from the upper bud sites too.

Suppose things all depend on your situation. Every grow is different.

I wasnt talking about lollipopping rik , Terry asked about budsites being covered , imo i thought he meant up higher on the plant

Lollipopping just means picking the lower 25-30% of the growth that gets no light , also prevents mould from dying vegetation . i do it when i see fit but it batters the shit out of a plant and can set it back considerably .

Some strains like it and some will end up not thriving at all

Two different things here .

Yeah that's right @Trex I brought up the lollipopping, not you.

I just wandered if it was something that was considered :oik!:

Blue Dream is kown to be a vigorous plant, she would bounce back pretty well.

It's @Terry_Flanagan1 choice, I'm sure Flan will do the right thing.

Beautiful plant already :-)

So just entered week 5 of flower, I'm watering every 1 - 2 days now with half the recommended nutes from bio bizz chart. Got a new ISH 265 V2 from Invisible Sun on its way down to really give those bud sites a boost.
Lovely sweet aroma coming from it already, and bud sites starting to join up.
Think I'm just going to leave her as is as I've not had a problem so far but will be trying that lollipopping on my next grow.

So she's 49 days into flower now, smelling beautiful and nice and sticky. Hope the buds start to thicken up and confused whether the leaves turning purple is because of late flower or a deficiency? Watering every 1 to 2 days at moment with feed. Probably around 2 weeks left to run I'd say

Low night time temps could do the colour change. What are they like?

Other than that I couldn't comment on deficencies, not sure.
