Re: Enter the Wu
Thank you @Paul_led / @2-Scoops
I've never used insulation..what type would you recommend...that would save me having to faff about with buying extra pot saucers to put them on?
When I'll be handwatering...I've got a couple of these substrate trays which have lots of holes in them that allow the pot to sit on and drain out excess water. They're 7.50 a pop from.the local grow shop. Any other ideas apart from holding the pot until its completely drained. Worked well for the last soil grows I did, so was thinking of buying a few more whilst handwatering before I turn on the autopot system. Any advice? Thanks in advance

Re: Enter the Wu
+1 for overthinking it dude.
Handwater till flip, then give them a good flush through with clean ferts using a cake cooling rack tray thing, sitting them on the bog... and then fire up the system is how I used my old autopots.
Tent was on a concrete floor in the garage and had no issues.
Only issue was I had 2 strains on one res and one of the strains wanted less grub than the other and decided to lock itself out while I was on holiday.
Came home to 1 lovely dark green plant and one bright yellow bugger.
Good luck dude.

Cheers mate. What about winter ..assuming you're in the UK? I have a water heater which I am going to put in the reservoir so at least the nutes are not cold when hitting the roots.Marcus wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 12:10 pm+1 for overthinking it dude.

Re: Enter the Wu
I really don't care what temp the res is/was, I still mix nutes up in cold water straight out of the tap if my bucket has run dry. Plants don;t seem to mind.wutang wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 12:28 pmCheers mate. What about winter ..assuming you're in the UK? Day 8 Update:

The weird one:

It looks like there maybe growth coming...but it almost feels like its an in-growing plant like in-growing hair. God knows.
