Thanks mate, can't remember the exact dosage etc but I soaked the jiffy cubes in a solution of:-
And kept that solution to use for the initial 'bottom' feed as they seem to like it ;o)

i also think if your gonna get fuck ups (root problems) growing with coco its with little dinky plants overwatered in big pots, not that you will but shit happens from time to time.
Seen this so many times mate - where people are trying to '😍 Love them to Death 😍'

I have not watered these at all and they still don't seem to need it yet (before planting the seeds I soaked the Jiffy cubes and then let that dry for a couple of hours and they have had nothing since). Notice how the two 'Fangs' are growing outta the only dry part of the Jiffy Cube:-

image.png
The dry part obviously promotes root growth (to go look for water I guess) - I will water them tomorrow around the edges is what I am learning rather than dumping the water on the plant directly - and of course I'm still learning here myself so we shall see what happens ;o)

I use same cubes or coco pellets, but when i see them drying out i just spray top of cube with my water/foliar spraying thingi-mijig bottle, i just givce about 8 to 10 quick presses and jobs a good en till necxt time.

A bit over rooted and these should have been potted a little earlier but i was holding them back a wee bit, those are about 3 weeks rooted through, but it doesn`t hurt them if you let them go a bit longer. Image

I then potted up into these pots and they have been in ever since under a 75watt t-5 light, i moved them under 100watt led yesterday now the grow area is empty

No i didn`t realize that @Minty for real those pictures with plastic bags over proper tricked and decieved me man, i swear they look like decent sized pots (pot noodle size`ish lol) full of coco.
 I totally guessed that mate. I originally put the jiffy cubes into small net cups inside the plastic cups for stability so it does look like they had soil in them ;o)

I already went ahead and potted them up, into the smallest I had (that wasn't a net cup) being the one litre pots I started the Melons in. I stuck them in those with the cup on top and stuck them on the floor under the current auto's where they should be fine for a bit to chill out.

75% Coco (2 Scoops) / 25% Perlite (1 Scoop):-

Image

I stuck a small layer of the mix on top of the 'very shallow layer' of pebbles and watered that part down before adding the Jiffy cubes and filling in around the edges:-

Cookies United! Tropical Cookies gonna watch over the Animal Cookies for now:-

Image

I upgraded and got some proper drip trays - with the large one at the bottom having the exact dimensions as the original shelfs which is nice ;o)
Very nice cookies united lol looking good buddy

how long do you keep your dome on top?
I will leave them with the 'plastic cups' over the top until they out grow them. I don't see any harm in having it there while they are so small.

Cool, just wondered see some people leave them on some take them off πŸ‘πŸ½
I do same as yourself Eli, i remove them/it as soon as seeds break ground. It can beneficial for producing more fems than males from reg beans a really humid environment so it could be beneficial at that point more so as is shorter lighting cycle, summink like 16/8 will help produce more fems over an 18/6 or 24/0 cycle too, theirs other things i think you can do too to try get more fems, but yes that`s a few of them. Went a bit of topic their but tis me all over mate. :roll eyes: :oik!:
