Another update,

These seem to be moving along nicely. Cycled the resoviour yesterday. They're on a pre-flower mix atm with a few extras. I had to add 10ltr of council pop as the water is freezing from the tap atm so I need to add a little hit water as it takes too long to heat up naturally despite having two circulation pumps whizzing about.

Temps have been a little low and the humidity it pretty high atm. I think I need to tweak the extraction a little. I've got the EC set to 1.9EC and the PH drifts between 5.5 and 6.0. Tends to drop as the plants consume the food.

Starting to see the very start of flowers so might have some crowns next week hopefully. The canopy is very uneven atm. Probably because my shoddy pruning (more like non-existent) but I wonder if I have a few kinks in the spreader and that's limiting the water to the corners. I'll find out at the end I suppose :shrug: I'll keep folding the leaders down and hope for the best. I really should have trimmed the lower third and its a jungle down there. I can't keep it all in the tent and a bunch of branches falls out everytime I undo the tent. Guess I'll have a lot of keif at the end.

A well invested setup man. Was just having a poke around the trollmaster controllers the other day. Thats a pipedream for me though.

Glad to hear you made it through your ordeal and the survival story adds nice flavor to your diary.

Lets see it then buddy

No that's still the Lumatek 465pro it's just being controlled by the trollmaster. I think I might upgrade the bars to the more powerful ones at some point? Saying that, the bars are rated for 60k hours so ~ 9 years running at 18h per day! That's crazy.

That's what makes me think the uneven garden may be a water or even an environmental issue. I'll have a tinker once the grow is over.

I picked that lot up cheap on ebay second hand. For the unit, led controller, co2 sensor and a bunch of modules (co2 and humidity controller) it cost me £300 shipped. So far it's be OK but has some downsides TBH. The fan speed controller is very basic and only does temprature. I think this is another reason why the humidity is sky high atm. Most of the controllers are very basic in function to one's like the GSE or even the long in the tooth Evolution controller.

I like the amount of feedback you get from the sensors and the LED controller is spot on but I might delegate the fan control to something else in the future and drop the TSH-1.

Just a quick update, the stretch is real! I've upped the P to try and stop em in their tracks but I'm not so sure it will :lol: We will see I suppose.

I've also been a naughty boy and while being lazy I used some hydro mix in my soil mother and burnt the shit out of it. Serves me right I suppose :)

She's picking up a bit now but she didn't like the food one bit :lol: I've had her on life support for about a week now and even took an emergency cutting as I thought I was going to loose her. Gave her some some of my magical foliar and a little RO to dilute what I added and she's on the mend. I now have some more pliable branches that look nice and fresh. I need her to hurry up a bit because I need to take some more cuttings to fill up the next run :)

Cheers for stopping by and sharing the kind words guys! Here's my weekly update.

These are still on preflower mix atm as they're still a week or so away from finishing the stretch period. They're stretching lots too :lol: NFT seems to produce these super aggressive plants that want to bolt. Either that or I'm packing out the tent too much and they're all fighting for realestate.

EC sits ~1.8EC and the PH steady drops from 5.8 to 5.5 every three or so days and need adjusting. They're getting the following.

* Preflower mix of grow/bloom/micro (base feed)
* Vitalink Turbo (PGR blend)
* Buddha's Tree Solar Power Green (silicic acid)
* Silver Bullet (Silver peroxide)
* Hygrozyme (enzymes)

The roots on these are crazy! Big thick roots that have travelled across the resoviour and into the circulation pumps. That's why I've started to add the hygrozyme. Hygrozyme being bacteria free can be used alongside the peroxide and will still do the biz.

They have been going through crazy amounts of water (~20ltr every 3 days) so my poor RO unit had been getting a beating. I'll probably upgrade that to a bigger unit this year. The little thing has done well to keep up but I need something with a faster flow so I'm not sat for 50mins waiting for 20 ltrs every 3 days. Tank cycles are a pain because it takes around 4 hours to collect enough water.

Lights are ~40cm from the canopy and are now running at 100%. Unfortunately that's caused the CO2 ppm to drop quite a lot. I like it up in the 700ppm and ad I spend at least 7 hours a day in the room I can normally achieve this but since the plants have been growing rapidly I struggle to keep it over 700ppm. The temprature has been dropping a little more than I expected too this week so I popped a little heater in there to take the edge off a couple of days ago. You can see that in the data log for this week

Anyway, next week these will be on the home stretch. If things carry on as they are, I think it's going to be a bumper harvest.
