Totally f’ed off @2-Scoops noticed a limp bud bent it snapped straight off a low and behold Mr Bud Mould rear it’s shitty grey MOFO head
.
I bent a few others and they all seem fine the Bud in question was right in the middle so god knows why that one copped it but anyway I cut it off down past the effected site and loobed it.
Majority of triches are still clear some plants going purplely so I fed today maybe call it a day and start flushing don’t really want to risk more yield being binned that is not the plan!.
RH@ 65 today normally about 75 got everything on that I have too to try and lower it but this weather is playing havoc.

Sorry to hear that mate but as you said you're doing all you can to keep the humidity down .I really don't think the uk weather and stand alone leds are compatible it's been a few days since I set up the bigger tent and the cmh led combo is working great my humidity is between 42 and 60 percent .even with the dehumidifier on constant the best I could get was 65 before hence I lost half my last lot .keep smiling mate no good worrying about what you can't change

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
Yes I'm with you on that score, i seem to see more get bud rot running LED over HPS. Maybe its summink to do with what you say. The CMH like HPS runs much hotter and possibly keeps RH a little lower, not only that but buds up their where LED is aren`t gonna get chance lets say to "dry off buds" a wee bit if that's right words when lights come on after a night when humidity is quite high where as a CMH or HPS bulb will possibly dry out those humid patches a wee bit from off plant. Fuck knows tbh I'm just guessing at shit here cus well i think mine don't look best shape, then again feck knows time will tell. All in all its not good and wank when a grower finds bud rot later in bloom after all work that's gone into growing it.Wrh wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 3:13 pmSorry to hear that mate but as you said you're doing all you can to keep the humidity down .I really don't think the uk weather and stand alone leds are compatible it's been a few days since I set up the bigger tent and the cmh led combo is working great my humidity is between 42 and 60 percent .even with the dehumidifier on constant the best I could get was 65 before hence I lost half my last lot .keep smiling mate no good worrying about what you can't change

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
That’s basically it in a nut
shell mate.
Like all other farmers I guess your reliant on Mother Nature and if she chucks a curve ball that’s it.
Do I wish I did HPS or CMH? Yeah probably but it’s still not over till the fat buds fall I guess.
You definitely can’t produce a heftier yield using LEDS but……. You can grow well without the huge leccy bill, end of the day I suppose you have to speculate to accumulate meaning spend more of juice to get the yield out just thinking aloud.
I’m going to start flushing from here on in and reevaluate next week end.

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
Well plenty seem or claim to grow more using LED, but like fuck can i get close to hps yields with one and that's using like for like on wattage and decent led lights. Myself i just don`t think they have that oomph in final stages to get calyxs popping like a 600 hps does and even a 400hps. Tbh hps grows lush big fat solid buds that i like, well most the time it does in my grows .FarmerGiles wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 8:25 pmYou definitely can’t produce a heftier yield using LEDS
One thing i certainly don't go for is light makers spiel along the lines of 300 or 400watt led will out perform a 600 hps, then again i maybe wrong.

Re: First Timer coco with LEDS cherry 🍒 poppin with @2-scoops
Sorry bit of a late update @2-Scoops dehumidifier been on a lot of the time last week even though The humidity has got a lot better don’t fancy taking any chances my grow looks pretty small but it is what it is so after reading you PM I’m holding out for another week and chopping down sat/sun just to get them triches changing a bit.
Lost another small bud but it is what it is at this late stage but 61 is the highest RH and 47 the lowest plus the dehumidifier has helped push the temps up to so winner winner of sorts.
