stick ya finger in the pot, if the dirt sticks to your finger you should be fine, if the dirt falls back into the hole like dry sand, chances are its a lil dry. i would think your cover crop is gonna keep a lot of the moisture contained tbh so really wouldnt be thinking about watering often at all, especially with that much medium. 10-15% pot volume every 5-7 days id be thinking tbh, alteast till the plants are draining the pot more quickly

And would you just alternate each time between plain water and biostimulants mate?

I was doing a feed of aloe/fulvic with a top dress of barley and frass. Then another day o was feeding triad kelp with a top dress of neem. Im just trying to figure out when I would do these if feeding every 5-7days

Could I not keep feeding the way I was but only adding 1/4 litre each time mate whereas before I was adding 2L sometimes 2.5L

Also I was feeding a coconut water feed as well in that schedule

so first 2 weeks of soil in pot i do nothing after the initial watering

week 3 maybe throw on some Neem (like a table spoon) down before watering

week 4 maybe mix a table spoon of each frass and MBP and throw that down before watering

week 5 maybe throw on a lil alfalfa and water in.

Fulvic is better used as a foliar and humic as root drench tho they can be used interchangeably but best effect from the first way. I Tend to do these foliars as my weekly watering, so ill add em1 or microbiome, fulvic, aloe and soap nut to my sprayer and then soak the plants leaf tip, stem and medium

typically the watering in would just be em1 in plain water but ill throw the rest in when i wanna foliar. hope that makes sense

I alternate mate, as per the regime you work from. but if the soil is wet I ust foliar it. With the aloe/fulvic/triad & soluble humic I'll have them on a three or four day rotation. A good misting rather than waterings avoids saturating the soil but still gives the plant access to a good supply of stimulants.
GMO's way is good too. Don't be afraid to experiment and suss out what works for you in your groom.

Good afternoon troops thought I'd do a little update today. So long story short I am moving house and have to flip the girls :( i would have liked to have vegged them for at least another 2 possibly 3 weeks but unfortunately I won't be able to. Took a few pictures there to let you see how far they are at the minute. Iv never flipped a girl before this early on and so young. I always wait until the whole net is pretty much filled up before I flip so this is another learning curve for me lol

I might try and squeeze another cheeky week veg out of them here after looking at this pics again lol

I'm still getting used to seeing canna plants with cover crops

I never really thought about the weight of the much larger pots these organic girls need and telling when they need a feed. I've recently joined the organic club myself so ill be learning as I go.

I haven't put any in yet in my Blue Forest Berry, I am getting a couple of roots showing, but they look healthy as, I have never seen such nealthy roots.

I may have to add some worm castings later and sprinkle a few to stop the soil eroding.

I will do an update later. Been a bit slack recently

Quick tip that might help, try sitting your pots on a kitchen cooling rack for cakes, this will keep air circulating under the pot and help it dry easier.

Buddy you won't look back once u get into it. I don't have a clue what I'm doing lol and my wee plants look good considering iv near drowned them a few times. One thing I have noticed though the girls don't grow as quick or as big in soil as they do in coco. I was growing absolute monsters in coco in 17 litre pots. I was genuinely nervous using a 50L pot but reakon I could possibly squeeze 6 in my grow space where I could only do 4 in the 17l pots if coco. But all in all don't think ill ever look back, think I'm organic for life now lol
