That happened to a mate of mine in the 80's. He was growing in the greenhouse and told his mother that they are tomatoes.
He came home one day to tender to them and they were no longer there. When he asked his mother where they were, she said that she pulled them because they were not producing any fruit.
Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.
