I wish I could get cherry terps but I only get sweet and fruity. Same with the Georgia Pie. Some say they get peach cobbler flavor and aroma.

The one that stands out is the Gary Payton cross. It smells like Bazooka Joe bubble gum

Weekly update - day 56 of flower

Everything is running well. I've dropped temperature during lights on to 77F. Keeping the relative humidity to 50%. Lights off I have 74-75F and the 50% RH. Just for grins I scoped the trichomes and as expected, they aren't done. LOL It's starting to get very strong aroma when opening the tent. Portable AC unit is definitely made all the difference growing during the 100F plus days.

Some photos:

Weekly update - Day 63 of flower

For some reason the forum won't let me upload photos. So use your imagination. LOL

All these cultivars have a flower estimate of 63-65 days. I checked trichomes with my loupe and I'm going another week at least. I have stopped adding Big Bud to my nutrient mix and started Overdrive. In the past I have flushed my plants but listening to Dr. Bruce Bugbee, and following his advise, I will feed right up to harvest.

Here is the result of scoping the buds. (checked buds halfway up and again on top)

Cherry Paloma - farthest along. Almost entirely cloudy and an amber here and there. This is definitely the frostiest plant I have grown.
Frequency Shift - mostly cloudy but no amber seen
Gary Payton x Fish Scale - 1/2 clear and 1/2 cloudy
Georgia Pie - 1/2 clear and 1/2 cloudy

Back to you in a week. :getitchopped:

So that may have summink to do with you carrying on feeding ferts or Nitrogen in particular which is known to delay weed from ripening.

I chopped the plants down today. This is day 69 of flower. Trying to get that 60 F/60 rh environment but the temperature will probably be more like high 60's. Of course we are headed into another 100F plus week ahead. We do what we can with what we have.

Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

I have no idea, honestly. I'm at the point in my journey where I am trying hard to make only one or two small changes (refinements?) from grow to grow. In my experience most of what I've grown has gone a little longer than advertised. But I've had two that finished way early & made me scratch my head. So checking with a loupe is a good idea.

:wtf:

Peace,

Toad
