The Hell-o grow

Post by Renegade420 »

Hey Chaps, first grow on the forum.
Killed all my mums last year, got fed up, got the itch, couldn't stay away, this will be my second grow back.
This might be a bit long winded but going to use this for my own reference also.
I'm from the old days off thctalk and then tgc after the madness.

So I'm on the hunt for new mummy's.
Current hunt and this diary's hunt will produce some off those I hope.

System for seeds and clones:
90x150 tent
6 inch extraction
My own custom led made by @ledlab 240w. white light ratio as follows 85% 5500k 15% 3500k. Some added 660nm also
I'm sponsored by remo nutrients so will be using them for the most part but I tweak my NER so will introduce some other products as time passes in the grow.
Lean to run to waste coir

System for veg and flower:
3.2x2.4 custom build room with a 1.6x2.2 grow area ( may well be expanded back to its original glory before flower commences)
Custom built infinity table racks with 4x 1.1 x 0.65 infinity tables.
8 inch phresh v2 with 60mm carbo air filter
6 inch phresh v2 intake
20-40l p day de hum
Humidifier
4 x 480w @ledlab again my own custom spec this time the reverse off the veg light 85%3500k 15%5500k and 660nm and 1x 1kw de hps/ 630 de cmh/ 600hps ( just depending how plants respond I hang what light )
70/30 coco pearlite
Custom drip system with 7000l per hr pump and 2/4 gallon per hr drippers
All ran through gas room controller.

The plants:
Dip n stix by beleaf x8 (cost me an arm and a leg for these lol) think it worked out 70 a seed.
Apple fritter x mai x1 tai by clearwater genetics
Meat breath x5 by reddingtons craft cannabis
And 2 clones from this current hunt
Devils cherries v2 by tikimadman

Heres the young uns and the clone.

Cheers
Ren

Thanks man, lots off years research, now I only buy beans that are HLVD free and have been checked. That virus is devastating to a crop. Thanks for popping by.

Doing a bit off messing about this morning, thought id snap a couple pics off the clan and the reveging mums from last hunt.

Love me some myco growth aswell I do, thinking that's what that mouldy looking shit is from my magic mushroom days. Anyone confirm?

For ref my background is 0.3 but I just forget about that and never have issues. I may change it up this run and add it in just to mess about a tad.
Cheers guys

Nah that moldy shit is just caused from light and wet soil on the coco up top, just like a glass of water does if left long enough on windowsill when it gets green tide mark if left in light around edge of glass where top of water level is meeting the air. Basically its light, water and air creating life, crazy stuff hey. Anyhow its looks more shitty than it is a problem, worse case scenario it will eat a littler of your fert salts and thrive, its pretty harmless shit though mate. Use clayballs or sand to cover top few cm if it does your napper in. In my bigger pots when i transplant up, if i have them i will add a few cm of clayballs to top pot off, its not really done to prevent the green algae shit but it does do that, but im more topping pots off or up.

Ah then were good mate. Thanks for that. I thought it was something like that but wasn't sure. I'll throw some clay balls in have loads laying about from an experiment i done a while back. Basically got saucers, drilled 2 drain holes .5 inch above base, added clay balls and then plants on top, cuz I was fertigatting 10x a day it was like a passive hydro sort off. Ended up with tons off roots out the pot but after grow when all dried they all just fell out so ended up with tons off clay balls left over.
Cheers Jimbo,
Ren

Look at hempy growing (passive hydro) but check out grumpy toads grows he does hempy and drills one hole i think its 2 inch high so he has a res to feed plants and he feeds fully grown plants every few days, although using 15 to 20 ltr pots and a coco perlite 50/50 mix i recon you would get away with every 3 to 4 days between feeds with fully grown plants, obviously a lot longer when plants are small.

Got some time for a few hours after dealing with plants all day, feel like a piece off gaffa tape. That's pretty solid to be able to do that. Hempys are great. Next grow I'm going to re jig the whole space. Will go have a look now though not having to water for 3 days would be really fucking handy.
Cheers jimbo
