Lovely looking grow Mr Ming.
I've been using far red boost bars with the LEDs. Knocks a bit off the flowering time and improves the bud quality.
Not too sure about the lights off thing to send em to sleep. I'm thinking that's Bro science.
I use mine from week 2 in flower and run with the main lights.
Have a play with em and see what works for you.
Enjoy the smoke

Using the CDM/CMH light as well, those lights have a colour spectrum very much sun like & also containing enough far red and depending on bulb brand should also have enough UVB within range for a beneficial response from plant, but from what i read i suppose that depends on bulb brands some have slight more uvb than others which just drop out of that beneficial response range for uvb u-va-vu-ness. Philips MasterColor Elite 942 T12 CMH is a good one that has it all. Only just reading and learning this so dont take it as written in stone. But yes the colour spectrum of CDM bulbs looks more sun like than any other types of lighting to my eyes.Treetrunk wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 8:08 amLovely looking grow Mr Ming.

Just a basic guide these are but you can see what's most sun like in them imo
Got a link to that CDM you bought or what was the brand you got, im gonna get one me thinks for that true colour spectrum. Also you use a veg bulb and bloom bulb

Re: 'Mrming' is back - ISH530 EVO V5 2024 & 3 Strains Grow..
@2-Scoops I found that with the Gavitas 315w i got lovely buds,
nice and firm but not solid like this grow.
I got 315gr from that 315w light, and the only way to increase weight in my eyes was a stronger bulb
or 2 or 3 of them.
And when using indoors in relatively small grow rooms, i wouldnt use due to the heat and the stretch
they always seem to have.
Whereas with this new invisible sun light, the plants arent even half the height of the grow room, which is brilliant
for the lower buds.
And i can control the light from 5% brightness to max, which has been instrumental in keeping the PAR and DLI levels
on the recommended levels at all times, somehting i couldnt do with a hps/cmh..
And finally the colours, the LED takes it by a mile, the colours on my grow have never been so vivid, when using cmh they look
slightly washed out.
I think with the V5 light from @Invisible Sun its definately the ultimate light for a 4 x 4 grow indoors.
And its COLD to the touch so could never burn your plants..
End of week 9 today and BUBBAS GIFT has started her havest, will upload new pics later.

@2-Scoops I'll be back on CMH lights in autumn.
The one's I use are Maxi bright and D Papillon.
The D Pap is the best runs really cool and designed by Philips.
The Gavitas Mr Ming mentioned is definitely a top end light but I've never used one.
I've seen ex demo D paps on eBay for £250.

Was looking at Maxibright cus it runs the Philips bulbs properly not all CDM ballasts do apparently. Found the Gavitas & D Paps so are they both decent brands in CMH lights
Cheers you two
On another what are you running with atmo @Treetrunk same as Ming LED ?

The two lights mentioned will definitely run Philips bulbs. The D Pap is made by Philips.
They are probably the best two available.

Re: 'Mrming' is back - ISH530 EVO V5 2024 & 3 Strains Grow..
Hi guys sorry ive not updated recently.
But heres double harvest news and pics.
Firstly I harvested Bubbas Gift around 10 days ago
and total DRY weight was a PALTRY 120g...
I will post some pics later of her..
Now then we come to Bruce Banner #3 By BSB Genetics......
(I think @Treetrunk will be interested in this.....
After spending 5 hours trimming - after 36 hours dark.,
she weighs in (wet) at a MASSIVE 780g, yes 31oz!!!!
(and yes the scales were zeroed when i put the container on)
The thing is virtually every bud on the plant is absolutely rock solid to the
touch so hopefully wont lose like more than half fingers crossed.
Theres a boquet of bud pic just for the ladies at GR420.
She is an absolute beast, and is all haning now as in pics, and the small amount in the net
is what we call the popcorn bud..
As you can see theres prolly not even an ounce worth, and thats because this incredible light from
@Invisible Sun is doing what it claims..
But genetics do clearly play a huge part, as bubbas gift by humbolt seeds produced only 5 oz.?
Finally as you see in photos the other plant GELATO is hanging ready to be cut and trimmed tomorrow,
lets hope she weighs in the same..
