Anyone know what this is? It's appearing on a few leaves on one plant. Now I think it may be due to strength of notes.. but can't quite pinpoint it. Could it be windburn too?
If it's happening just in that spot then it could well be windburn. That being said, those sugar leaves look like they're curling down and that shiny look suggests that you might have overdone the nutrients a smidge :)

If you see more damage on other plants that look similar, don't do anything drastic and overcompensate by not feeding them but, you might want to carry out a pour-through test to see if there's any build-up happening.

I've dropped the feed to 2.5ml/l today just in time for them to drink more in this heat. I noticed the curling on the sugar leaves but wasn't sure what that was. I don't think it is wind burn as my fan oscillates too. I would have expected more leaves in th3 same area to be hit by it.

Fingers crossed it doesn't give me poor results as the buds are packing put still. I'm gradually beginning to reduce feed now. In total I'm on about 86 days since they popped.

This is the silver bullet roots stuff bro. Just keeps any bacteria at bay..avoids or fights root rot me thinks. I bought 5l of it when it was on sale too lol.

Silver bullet is silver stabilised hydrogen peroxide. The addition of silver makes it more effective and for a longer period.

It's a good thing if trying to keep a sterile environment. It's not providing much benefits to the plants other than killing pathogens.

Personally I only use it to sterilise things. I tend to try to stay away from products like these and other things like hypochlorite etc as I prefer to keep microlife present.

Your plants will do great in both situations but, a lot of the bacteria can and will influence plants by triggering certain responses. Those in turn actually improve the crops medical qualities so-to-speak. They can also improve resistance to the bad stuff.

The only time I would run a sterile system is if I was running DWC as those are very prone to root issues. I have a theory why but, not found anything to back that up yet and I wouldn't touch DWC even if someone paid me to.

HI @wutang ... have you flushed these pots through at all during flower?

That burn on the leaves happens when there's a build up of salts/excess feed in the pots.

They may need a run through mid flower next time of clean water. Maybe too late now, but they'll finish up just fine I reckon. Maybe just give them a light pk feed every other day? They're loaded at the mo.

Nice.

Ignore me, they're on auto pots innit. they get what they get from the res.

Next res change I'd probably drop the a+b to either 0.5ml/L or 1ml/L and give them a splash of pk in there. Then next week get them on flush for 2 weeks or not if they need longer.

They're full to the brim of grub is the problem. That's when the farty bits come out to play.

I dunno though. They will finish up fine, so you could cut them farty leaves off and pretend it never happened?

Thank you sir @Marcus

I think they have a few weeks still left in them.

I'm on 2.5ml/l a b atm
1ml/l buddy

I'll drop them to 2ml/l next week I reckon than 1.5ml/l week after.

As soon as I start to see orange hairs..you reckon I should just giv em water.

But yeah I slightly over did it with nutes this time, last time I underfed. So next time I feel I have a better idea of feeds and what not to to over. But I know some strains are more demanding then others.

The problem.hasnt got worse..but I did drop it to 2.5ml from.3ml last couple of feeds.

I've got some dead leaves at the bottom..but that's because they probably have little light. They're almost there bro. There's no signs of orange hairs yet apart from one freaky bud that did that about 3 weeks ago. Rest are all white..and still filling out. Didn't help I lost my heater during the winter spot during our British summer. I think I mustn't have noticed that for 4 weeks so no doubt cold roots at 14c in the groom at lights off must have had some impact. Stupid fan heater.

Hope you're good my friend?
