1st Outdoor Auto Grow

Post by TheCloudyChef »

So on Friday 5th April I had an adhd moment and b4 I knew it there was ........

X1 Dutch Passion Orange Bud

&

X1 Barney's Farm Skywalker Og

These are from winnings I've received from the guys over

@TeamVault - The Vault !!

These went into soil outdoors on Friday and for now theres not much else to say lol

Raised bed filled with a mix of vegetables, herbs and dead rose cuttings topped with some compost that's been made is same area.

Now my garlic is growing well like this and I put a mulch over them of shreaded paper and with no signs of mould I've decided to mulch in the same way for these 2 lady to bee's.

Once established I will be finding a useful cover crop / plants to put under them -

Once their out of the ground I shall post weekly on these . Now to get rest of garden planted with things that will hide them from neighbours view - sunflowers and tomatoes here we come lol

So not much too look at right now but I shall be pep taking these to believe in themselves and achieve big things lol

So stupidly cant remember 100% but I'm damn sure that this is the Dp orange bud - took 7 days from popping out pkt and straight into the ground , no soaking just straight in and left .

No pic of 2nd as it hasnt shown itself yet . If no joy by next weekend I will have a different been in there asto not waste time.

So as a newbie to outdoor doings .....
So far I've checked twice instead of 100 times a day if it was inside , now why the easy sudden change of mental philosophy?

Is it as I already think I've done my bit by putting seed there and happy with seeing what unfolds rather than I've got this space indoors it needs to be perfect. Strange feeling as I'm an over twinkler and always pottering about in a tent .Image

2 days later and shes still looking happy bless her.

And the
Skywalker og has now shown her pretty little self- although still very early days for her

Well still early days for both ,
But I'm hoping to learn alot by letting nature take its course and watching what they naturally want to do .

Any hints and tips from other outside gardeners would be very much welcomed ImageImage

I'm sure this one is the Dutch Passion - Orange bud Auto .

She was the first to come up which has surprised me a bit as the 3 previous attempts at popping this strain turnt out to be fails . But literally pop her out the pack and throw her in the ground outside and she struts her stuff. ImageImage

Barney's Farm - Skywalker Og- First time running her and although around 4 days longer for her to pop she seems to be fine and settling in to her surroundings. ImageImage

So as there was plenty of space from soil lvl to top of raised bed I've started topping up with coco / compost mix from my sorbet compost heap from indoor runs .

I've done this for 2 reasons

Firstly its extra medium to make sure theres plenty of available feed in easy soil before the real ground underneath

And secondly I'm feeling it's a bit chilly and I may have rushed into it b4 thinking of the drops in temp. That being said I've made a inch ish of height so seedlings are technically below surface lvl with my thinking it will keep them warmer over night.

I've been looking into wat to plant under and around but think I'm just going to wildflower mix the bed to encourage predators into the area and feed off the nasty pest bugs.

Also looking for around 6 bird boxs to line the perimeter and create a complete strike zone around the garden which should hopefully help with pests too .

For a run that I was not gonna worry about n let things take its course I'm kinda overthinking again lol
