Projectors

Post by Marcus »

Projectors.

Anyone know anything about them?

My TV is fucked. It's an old fat backed one from the caveman days.
I need to release it into the wild down a back lane in the city centre so it can see it's days out running free, but I'll miss Blankety Blank tomorrow without it.

So I want a tv, but I think a projector would be about the same price and more of a novelty.

I also want to project porn on the neighbours big white house. :rolf: Fucken pearl clutching bedwetters they are.

Thanks in advance folks! :running-around:

I have LED TV screens at the moment. I wish I had one of those fancy projectors. Maybe with this remodel and being evicted out of my grow room I will get what I want this time.

It was a tough battle for me dude, keep at it and you should win!

Mrs Marcus even sat down the other night... she NEVER swears BTW... and said.

"That TV's fucked isn't it?"

I've made a little 4 x 3 seating area in the garden and sunk some 6 foot posts in each corner for an outdoor screen and a tarp roof too, that swung it for a projector over a tv with her.

Well, I tell a lie, I haven't "made a little 4 x 3 seating area in the garden"... I had 4 fence posts spare so I put them in the ground so I could throw a tarp over a plant or two out there next season, but now it's an outdoor cinema in her mind and it'll never get finshed! :rolf:

That's what I'm looking at.

Looks like it'll make a nice handbag too.

One thing to check before you give your dollar away is the warranty and the warranty on the LED bulb if you're going for one of these. Whether it's covered under warranty or whatever cover you get, or how much is it to replace so at least you get a feel for running cost..but I think these led jobbies will last longer. This one's probably obvious though HD res and above..4k ones are probably expensive (I think they exist).

Let us know what you settle for dude.

Peace

I found my old projector. Is about 70 lumens and 480p.. :rolf:

The wallpaper up the middle of the wall where the old radiator pipes lived really make this a cracking projector. Best 40 quid I ever spent!
