The girls have finally found there new home, got some training and thinning to do this week and will flip them at the weekend.

Quick question, in my experience NFT means nutrient film technique where the plants roots are being fed by a very thin film of flowing nutrient solution. Is your hydro grow here more of a dwc or do I have that wrong? No biggie just curious. Looks great in there. And clean!

Hey bud, yes you are exactly right what you said about nft.
It gets to the point the roots have grown into the res so in a way its kinda like dwc i guess.

The girls have been 12/12 since Sunday, look at the size difference between nft and coco, I had a feeling there would be a difference but this is ridiculous.

Front right one isn't really doing much, she's been a bit of a strange one for this whole grow.


Back right coco plant is doing well though.


When you look across the tops its clear to see which is in the lead

front left plant is a bit of a lost cause, ill grow her out but not expecting big thing's from her. the other two are looking to do well though

This is the small coco one front right, she is well fed with dark green leaves.


And the back right coco one, she is on the same feed as the front right one but due to her size shes a little more hungry and pale looking, gonna start giving her an extra boost from the bottle thats used to top up the nft tanks, got a strong nute mix that gets splashed into the nft tank to keep the ec up, will add a bit to her next few feeds and see if i can get some colour back in her.


Nft on the left, shes a nice dark green colour with little bit of paleness to the new growth, i feel like she is happy with an dc of 1.2

Havent done anything except feed them in weeks, will get in there in a couple of weeks time and take some fan leaves off

Looking lovely both sides Vador. The NFT seems to have the edge. Frosty buds all round.
