Hey GR420,

Soo, coming to week 4 (think I got dates mixed up last update) flipped 10th March. So I make it nearly 28days flower.

2 plants have hermied :( hhhhhh.


Pretty sure some lowers dropped pollen. I'm panicking now because my big beasts are showing brown pistils. From what I've read it's from possible pollination?? I hope not.

My environment is stable! 24c on and off light. RH sits about 55-60%.

There's an insulation box around the tent so there's no light leaks.



I have 2 plants left. I feel so deflated I feel like chopping these and started again. I've no idea if there pollinated and I don't wanted Seedy flower... can you tell by the pictures?

I've cut the herms, straight away.

Think they've been pollinated? It's only showing those signs on 1 of the 2 plants left.

Ah man. What's the best cause of action would you say? Did you flower yours out? Shall I push through and hope for the best? I just don't know :(.

I got rid of the 2 plants as soon as I saw the sacs. I have 2 more that have no sign of sacs. Just browning of the pistils. So I'm not sure if they've been pollinated

Tbh im not sure I've never had an hermie but I've faffed around with pollen on flowering plants before to make seeds. Anyhow its not gonna be the whole plant that seeds and just the bit where pollen has dropped onto not that it makes it any less of a pain for ya, but yes tgheir should still be plenty of nice bud on plant if only a few male sacs have jizzed off. Takes anything from 4 to 6 weeks to see seeds.

A good idea would be to foliar spray your plants and room with water as a one off, by doing this it will just fuck any left over pollen up so its not viable, but if ya notice shit like this happen again its a good idea to do the foliar thing with water as a whole. Add a little h202 if ya got any it only needs a wee bit but its not essential although it will make sure shit is no good for creating seeds good and properly. I mean im not sure if theirs any science to this I've never looked and im unsure if its 100% but when I've had a pop at making a few seeds by pollinating just one bud on a flowering plant i got told to do it for said reasons after first covering the pollinated bud up with a plastic sandwich bag. I removed the bag after a few days and foliar sprayed the whole plant again thinking the bud would have been pollinated and just to be sure none of the pollen escaped when removing the plastic bag and start pollinating other buds, Long and short of it i didn't get any seeds so i presume spraying again fucked up the pollen before it had chance to work.

Certainly dont pull them Benji you`ll know one way or another soon enough without doing that, but ouch man, i feel for ya mukka.

Afternoon GR420,

Sorry its been a minute.

These girls are still going strong.. counting about day 51 for these.

I've been pushing these ladies hard these past couple of weeks. They were getting dowsed with 1.5 - 2ml PK13/14 all last week. Now there just on -
Canna A&B - 6ml
Canna Mag - 1ml

I'm feeding until this Friday and then possibly starting their 2 week flush.

The nose on them is absolutely PUNGENT. So sticky and dense, almost like a fruity cherry. Weird.

There about 7" from the light (tallest bud) so I've kind of had to put the light at an angle to raise it as much as I could lol. Not at their full capacity due to fear of burn so there running at about 170w each unfortunately.

Not much colour is coming through with these which I'm surprised with with the 'Red Kachina' some of the lowers is pushing purple out but I don't know if that's lack of light.

Anybody who saw from the start knows these girls was on the brink of death due to my negligence with my 1st Coco try. This is currently my veg tent (coco again) about a month in. I've got the 2 zapple x kachina clones the front left, big ones are exoticgenetix neon sunshine. Feel I've had a much better start with these.
