Am i doing something wrong with these led lights.

Its all asbout those 600 hps lights Vador, i know im not much help their what with you being an LED type grower nowadays. But seriously im far from clued up growing with led lights, all i know is a 600 hps shits on a 600 watt led, but that's my own experience with them when i did 3 grows years back when cree cob led first came out. I shall be branching out to full on Samsung quantum LED for Summertime, prolly next grow or maybe ill just switch when it gets hotter, but i have a vague idea as to how i shall grow them a little different to how i use hps lighting with odd tweak for solid buds on all plant, put simple or basically im just gonna do the more defoliation thing for more light penetration. Well i say that hopefully. Rambling over shit to here your not smashing it like you can mukka.

The X-bars are the best lights I've seen on the UK market, they will do a better job than hps in my opinion exept maybe in winter. Even with the F-Bar I get dense buds all the way down the plant, so I don't think the actual lights are the issue but looking at Vadors NFT vs Coco comparison, it could be just down to prefered growing style

Cheers guys, tbh i dont think its the light i think theres another factor at play.
When i first moved into this house i was using t5’s and mh for veg, hps for flower. Had the same problem then, thought it was just that i wasn’t getting a good light spread so got a parabolic and still was having problems, moved to led and seen a brief spike in yields but now its dropped off again, swear i used to get more in a wardrobe than i am now.
Its this house im sure of it lol.
The only thing i haven’t tried is changing nutrients, everything else has changed and had no improvement, tbh i dont think thats it but we shall see, next grow is vitalink vs gho in nft so might get some insights from that.
The only other thing that keeps going through my mind is perhaps theres not enough airflow, got two vents fully open on the tent now since doing away with the 3in1 bit and making it one big tent. Hopefully that might help but again im not convinced thats the problem.

I dont do vents or holes in grow room, air pull from extraction pulling it under small gap at bottom of door is about it. Still does a grand job

Thats what ive done @2-Scoops, i cut a hole in the ceiling and put fan in the loft and into the chimney so it extracts outside. Passive inlet into the room, i just shaved an inch off the bottom of the bedroom door and seem to be getting plenty of airflow.
The flower room only had one vent before, now its been opened up theres 2. I keep the vents clean and hoover them every week when i do the rest of the house so it shouldn’t be down to lack of air. Just doesn’t make sense at all

10” fan in a 1.6x1.2 area should be plenty as well

Missy used to say passive inlet needed to be around x2 size of extraction hole. I think biggest i went was x1.5 and that was only when i grew in bigger rooms and not in little cupboards like i do now.

well the vents have doubled on the tent now after turning it from 3in1 to one big tent, there's a vent on either side and they are fully open, the only restricting factor is the gap under the door, when I stand with my toes poking under the door it feels really breezy. might see if I can increase the airflow somehow, maybe some ducting from the loft or something

Tell you what though this zkittlez is nice, smokes well and its only had two weeks of drying lol.
On the last plant now, was gonna do that today but been busy and ended up playing poker till late, need to get the last plant done when i get home from work. taking up too much space, need to get some new babies started and build a new veg area

Ok then so where are we at.
Plants were chopped at the stem and hung for two weeks.
Buds harvested and trimmed and into paper bags for a week.
Spent some time yesterday and removed buds from stems and got it all weighed up and into jars.

This time there was a total of 370g of useable bud, to be fair i wasnt as ruthless as normal, usually i take out anything smaller than say a marble, this time round i just left it all in if it was smokeable.
Got some nice trim in the freezer, havent weighed it yet but ill report back when i have some numbers.
Undecided what to do with the trim.

• Butter
• Gummies

Haven’t decided yet so it’ll remain in the freezer for now till i get some inspiration.
