Re: Nice Option's Campsite - Kirkwood OG
#3 at day 26
Structure of this plant is lovely. Terps are coming through now. More on the earthy side and frankly just smells like Face Off which is no bad thing, even if it wasn't what I was really looking for.

This plant would love a scrog and certainly a shorter veg time so I'm looking forward to giving her another whirl down the line and doing her justice.
Assuming the smoke's good she's a likely candidate for some pollen chucking I think. I was planning on using pollen from the male I've kept on something else, but this girl's checking quite a few boxes and causing me to rethink things.

Re: Nice Option's Campsite - Kirkwood OG
This was a couple of days ago on day 38 of 12/12
#3 is by far my favourite. Nice yield, well structured plant and flowers. Really clean terps. Lots of chlorinated chemmy pine, fresh earth and a slightly astringent diesel-y lemon. Really nice and exactly what I was looking for with this round. It grew a bit close to the light and is showing some stress from it but I'll watch that next time.

#12 is a quite odd bud structure and more like a cookie type frame. Not such a yielder. Greasy resin with a pretty amazing smell. Strong fermented pineapple and pine. Funky and dank. Not what I was looking for but very nice.

#9 is the one I didn't top. Turned out quite nice, terps are just like a muted version of #3, but with more sweetness and no gassy astringency. Nothing unique and not what I was looking for. Buds are a bit leafier and have a slightly looser structure. I've no doubt it'll be a nice smoke, there's just better in the tent.

#11 this one's much faster than the others and shorter too. Very dense lil nugs. Not such a yielder, muted terps. Meh.

There are two others i didn't photograph, they're very low yielding, non-stretching phenos. they won't amount to much but I'll wash/squash them into rosin for vape carts and the odd cheeky dollop onto quartz now and again.
I'd kept a male around from these but I'm thinking the #3 might be more useful. Could be a good one for a reversal

Day 42
#3 such a nice plant. looks like she'll go 70 days and is going to need all the extra support I can give her. Getting very heavy.

Such a dank stank coming off this lady.

Re: Nice Option's Campsite - Kirkwood OG
Day 53 , these pics were a few days ago.
No 3 - amazing structure and got all the fresh pine, turned earth, chlorine terps you could want, with a sprinkle of powdery lemon for good measure. Exactly what I was looking for. Fantastic yield too.

No 12 - Stanky baby with a goofy structure. Greasy resin and screaming loud fermented pineapple and sweet, sour, rotten terps. Not what I'm looking for so won't be kept, but I know I'll miss her and if I had more space I'd keep her around a while. Unique and cool but not perfect.

No 9 - All looks. No terps. Big yield and great vigour. Not much else going on. Grainy resin. A faint whiff of piney-woodsy kinda thing.

No. 10 - sweetish and earthy, the worst representation of OG IMO. Bland terps, tiny plant with undesirable structure. Barely stretched at all.

No. 11 - fast finisher, terps are like 3 with the volume turned down 50%.

No. 7 - Smells like GSC. Weird looking runty thing. Maybe like an oz yield on the whole plant. Obvs not a winner but will probably be a nice smoke.

And on to the next...

A friend made some F2s of Juicee J (CapJunky x Jealousy) and they just got wet today. Could be some cool recessive stuff popping up in these. Something Jealousy leaning would be nice and will be kept. Sherb terps for summer would be a treat and I'll keep an eye on the boys. That Kirkwood OG #3 is crying out to be pollinated.
