Re: Cole Gets Greedy With Bodhi & Oadie Seeds
Thanks Tic mate! I feel the same way about your diaries. We seem to share a love of the same genetics. I'm a genetic seed junkie too, I just need to have them all or experince them all. Yeah if your getting your mendo P crosses from CSI you can garuntee your getting the real deal. I've got a bunch of stuff from him sitting in the fridge. Ooooo mendo P x Chem D sounds interesting. I've got a bunch of the Northern lites #5 OP seeds they did & some of notsodog's headband crosses with the Chem D & TK that I want to crack open this year.Tictok wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 6:52 pmYour diaries are very much worth having around, I'm sure there's a load that browse without commenting.Cave Hill Cole wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 4:13 amThank you Gents! @Tictok @Keeno @2-Scoops I appreciate the positive feedback![]()

Somtimes I wonder if I'm not just talking to myself with these dairy posts. So I appreciate the dialogoue.
I've got another dairy coming soon, once I get back from holiday. I've got some mendo purps crosses from CSI Humboldt & a few other things cooking away in the veg tent. Fingers crossed everything is still alive when I get back.
Very nice re the Mendo Purps cross, I believe Notsodog found the mendo purps cut originally and is friends with CSI, so they are going to be legit.
I have a mendo cross freebie from CSI with the ChemD S1s, have to check which one. They are regs too which I was totally stoked about.
Bring that diary on man , it would be great to see anything with mendo purps in.
Enjoy your holiday!
Cheers mate! I'll definitely be back with another dairy in a couple weeks!

Re: Cole Gets Greedy With Bodhi & Oadie Seeds
So are you not in a legal state down under now to grow your own percy weed ? I think i read some are and some aren`t. I know its a very recent thing though thats come about in past year or two.Cave Hill Cole wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 10:26 pmIt's hard when you grow in prohibition countries, because there's no body to discuss this great hobby we love so much.
See that's another thing lots of peeps hear PGR and get scared off, when in reality theirs really no need to be of using right kind, basically the naturally occurring type from within plants. I mean boosts contain PGR`s these days that applies to the organic kind too. I'm near as damn it sure the organic types now use and call the naturally occurring type organic, well that's cus they are in all honesty, but once upon a time they were really frowned upon. That said they can cause real fuck ups if your proper clueless adding too much or certain kinds can cause proper spazzed out plants not knowing what they doing flowering or vegging, shemales etc, i try steer clear of those, tbh only one i use is triacontanol generally as a foliar spray weekly when i flip for 3 weeks before dropping it or adding it altogether or putting it into my fert mix. Been thinking of giving brassinolide a pop as well for some time now but that's as far as its ever got.Cave Hill Cole wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 10:26 pmYeah the PGR wave was some nasty business, that's one of the pros about the big organic movement these days I guess.

Re: Cole Gets Greedy With Bodhi & Oadie Seeds
No down in New Zealand we still don't have leagl growing as of yet. We missed out on the legislation referendum by 0.6%, it was a sad day indeed. Now we have a medical cannabis system that's a total joke, you can buy med weed... But it's $900-1200 an Oz. Which I probably easily smash on my own Percy stash in a week. So there's no way in hell that's an option for me. & I'm addicted to growing more than anything, I just love exploring the cannabis gene pool, it's become a passion.2-Scoops wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 2:11 pmSo are you not in a legal state down under now to grow your own percy weed ? Apologies I didn't really distinguish between synthetic PGRs & non synthetic ones. I personally use kelp and alfalfa meal/tricantinol in my compost teas. I've seen that you use tricantinol as a foliar spray from memory, which sounds super interesting. I've heard it's the synthetic PGRs that can cause some negative side effects & make your flowers hard as a rock. I tend to run a syn-ganic style in coco, it works for me & brings the flavor. But hey every grower is probably going to say that about their style. Mate there is so much bullshit when it comes to the organic soil movement. Blood & bone comes from the floors of the slaughter houses & bat guano will burn the shit out of your plants if you over do it, after it's been collected in inhumane labor conditions. But it's super trendy to say you run no till... Even though no till was invented for outdoor growing to avoid top soil soil loss, that occurred when tilling fields. But it's all cool in my books, whatever floats peoples boats & makes them feel good.

Re: Cole Gets Greedy With Bodhi & Oadie Seeds
Yes you`ve got best in those for sure. I remember a story about alfalfa cattle feed from way back and why it was such a good boost. Summink along the lines of cattle ate the food pellets that contain the triacontanol and in turn when they shit all grass around the turd grew x10 faster, someone noticed and put it down to the pgr in it and the organic boost was born. Obviously a load of shit but i found it a really comical story it made me chuckle when i read it.Cave Hill Cole wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 3:06 pmI personally use kelp and alfalfa meal/tricantinol in my compost teas.
Another boost that seems interesting if your all about doing things differently at a fraction the cost is whey protein preferably hydrolyzed, well its main ingredient in most shop bought boosts.

No kidding, whey protein as a booster you say. I've never tried anything like that yet. Sounds very interesting

"Did you know that Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Food Grade Amino Acid is the secret ingredient behind:
Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud.
House & Gardens - Amino Acid Treatment.
Heavy 16 Prime"
A bit of that with alfalfa and kelp sure sounds a cracking booster big bud style
