A grower friend told me to let her grow more


So she’s held up with yo-yo

Yes for sure Daze your friend and duke are right, they can pack on a 3rd in weight during those last few weeks its when they`re really bulking out. That aside they plants look sound as always with your grows.

Why do damp and warm create damn gnat larvae?!? I had four Markus testers in solo cups and I’ve drenched them in Crop Defender….. but I want them to live til transplant…. They’re were somewhat fine yesterday and no bugs… I blame soil…it’s reused

Also all 4/4 germinated on those testers … 🪴
I imagine these are great genetics with the Maui Waui and Orient Express @Marcus

Any tips for the grow? I’ll be throwing up a separate diary for them when/if I have seedlings to show for!

Do you have access to diatomaceous earth? May also consider capping the solo cups with sand to suppress the gnats. Another thing I have used is if you have a spare inline can fan like a small 4” fan you can place it close to the pots with gnats with the intake side facing the plants and that fan will chew the bugs up and kill them as they emerge

An inch (25mm) or so of straight up perlite will work also. Nip them in the bud!

The DE did not come in quick and those larvae evolve QUICKLY… in 24 hours there were load and I scrapped all the seedlings & cleaned out all the tents with bleach water and alcohol - I have clean tents & fans

And am attempting to start over…..

I’ve got two autoflowers at a week old - last of these stock for me


Once these are a little further along
I can start some Markus testers and see how those churn out.

My initial goal was to get seedlings going by moon cycle to line up Veg and flower times … these line up with new moon…

I’ve got DE and some play sand … I will pick up some perlite this week as well!
