Well it's been cut and hung, I don't usually do it like this as I normally use a bowl trimmer and a net as it's a bit easier on my back but the end product is never that great. I can never get a slow dry like that and it has no smell, I'm sure it's been affecting the potency aswel :idn:

Looking good @Nom! Interesting you say that, there are quite a few on here that use bowl trimmers and I think that might be me at some point, but never have they said it affects the smell? I kinda see your point. I've done the same as you before but had challenges keep them at the right temp for drying in winter in the UK and a fan heater was added into the tent (not directly) but just to circulate some warm air...mine still pongs but not as much as I'd want it to. Slow dry is meant to give you the best overall smell/taste so goodluck! 🙏🏽

@wutang it's not the bowl trimmer mate that trims it up fine, its the fact the I've been drying it in a net and it's dry in under 3 days. Usually for me its a case of bowl trim and into the net for 2 days then jar it or into a tote for a day and then back in the net for 12 to 24 hours and back into the jar or tote.
If I jar it at around 70%rh and burp it down then its a bit better but tbh I just don't seem to be able to get on with using a net so I thought I'd try a different method for a while. Might go back to the trimmer and net eventually, who knows.

The best result I've had was when I chopped the plants at the base and left them in a pile in the floor of the tent for a day or so and then bowl trimmed and put it in the net. It wasn't intentional, i was about to start doing it and I was trying to move the plants in the morning and they all just collapsed into a heap so i got pissed and just left it and went out. Boiling hot day aswel

Interesting man. So many factors to consider. Do you wet or dry trim in the bowl? I've not yet done it at all... but I feel I should considering how long it takes to hand trim. I've thought of using a net as well but i couldn't be arsed with turning buds around every day or so so I just chopped and hung in the tent similar to you.
