So the hang dry has come to an end, the trim has been done and the nugs have been weighed and jarred up. Its great to get these girls over the line.. I have to close up shop and hide everything for an up coming flat inspection. Once that's done I will start the flower up and chuck on another dairy.

Herbalist, to answer your question, I usually start smoking samples once the flowers get dry to the touch. Usually about after 7 days. These girls hung dried for 2-3weeks. But I started vaping them as soon as I could. Early flower in the vape isn't bad pretty tasty, where early flower in a joint can be a bit gaggy at times.

The final weight of dry flower was as follows:
Zkittels - 5.4 Oz
Critical Neville 4.8 Oz
Alien Rock Candy 4.0 Oz
9 Pound Hammer 3.8 Oz
Sonic Screw Driver 8.5 Oz
Total - 26.5 Oz

When I trim I save all the leaves, minor buds, larf and things I cant be bothered trimming. All of this goes into a pile which I make coconut oi and MCT oil out of.

Saved Trim and Minor buds - 6.2 Oz.

My guess is that the total flower weight was approx 30 Oz if you include the minor buds in the saved trim pile.

The first smoke report is pretty encouraging The Zkittels has a super sweet blueberry nose to it. it has sweetness and berry flavor on the enxhale too which is nice. Its very much a warm indica buzz too it. The Zkittels was a fun plant to grow. It was a chunky decent yeilding girl. She throws those big fluffy nugs that look all impressive but dont weigh heaps.

The Criitcal Neville surived the bloody root aphids some how. They were all over her at the end, but it didnt effect the flower that much, which is odd and cool. She is strong, has nice strong mango nose to her, and good strength, very forsty nugs, lots of big trichs. The buzz is strong, its not quite what I remember or what I am looking for, but its still lovely and KO's you. You can keeping vaping until you space out of time and existence for a blip of time, which is cool, the sonic does that too.

The Sonic look sad at the end, and the dry wasnt the best. She took the longest to dry, and had that hay smell, I think this was maybe due to the drying out of the leaves in the dry room. because None of the the other plants dried and cut side by side had it, so it wasnt from the drying conditions. The drying conditions were controlled and spot on. Any way, she vapes like a bloody champ. This flower is really curious, you get really high, but your mobile and able to be active. But if you vape enough, you van get to that point of losing all your senses for a couple of seconds and then kind of coming too. You gotta do a couple vape bags in a row from the volcanco to get there. The vape flavor is a musky orange with cream.

The ARC got messed up by the root aphids. her yeild was super low due to this, a ton of the sub canopy on her was unsuable, I reckon the aphids cost me about 30% of weight maybe more. Funny though, the smoke has kick, it has a very different sweet smell I can put my finger on. The vape flavor is sweet too and she has a nice high, kind of warm happy feeling.

The 9 pound hammer has a super musky dank myercene berry smell. She is very similar to her sisters in high, flavor and smoke. The high creeps and comes on late, then hits you with a heavy lock.
