@DIY.Rik @GHO Gypsum is a salt FYI

bicarbonate is generally the salt to avoid in organics, iirc critic acid helps break it down into more available and mobile parts :oik!:
Like ACV?
Yeah I would think so buddy. Not sure how much youd need or if regular maintenance doses would do the trick

translated from the bongo of the canna jungle

ACV is acetic, not citric. Does that matter?

I think it's the acid hydrogen potential that does the job

I will trim what's left 🙈 lol.... down today and or tomorrow.

Then it's time to get my vegging plant in here and start a new diary.

This time it's riks salty cheese moving in here! I will let them get used to the evo light slowly this time around though

So, get the netting back out and let's grow something more substantial this time. I hope. 👍

I've designed a system to store and collect my run off.
You just know it makes sense mate.

A pot in a pot with a tube or tap on the outer pot has always served me well for collecting run off growing in coco and its not changed in like 15+ years Rik, works a treat. :nice:

Cool method @2-Scoops, worked very well for me too. Another method I tried was four pots in a garland tray with a hole in one corner, raised on sloped milk crates, a piece of 2x1 taped under one end of the base to create the slope and a plastic tank under the hole to catch the run-off:

This is all over now, thank the lord!

We learn more from our mistakes though, so onwards and upwards. I am on a roll now and I shall not be going empty again! Me hopes!

Image

So got a jar of decent dope to last me for a little while until my next auto finishes off.

I will re run this strain one day. I really didnt do it justice.

Image

So, EM1 watered in and covered with Afla and also some meadow hay. I will top up watering this then start feeding more microbes back in and some food for them and the worms. There must be some hiding away in the rocks and biochar I put in here.

I will maybe innoculate that biochar I have been meaning to do for this (for the last year :strangling: ) and/or make some mycelium to really get things moving in here. The next run in this living soil will be a good one! :ak:
