Greetings,

So we are coming into week 5 and its still going full throttle ahead. Its been super humid and wet here...and its summer, like 80% RH most days. But the girls in the tent seem to be getting by ok.

Image

I have had to put another fan on the Sonic, because she has so much bio mass. Really interesting, her terp/smell chanegd all of a sudden. It has very little orange/citrus now and smells like strong myrcene. She is an absolute beast in size.

Image

Image

The ARC has perked up a little...but I reckon the damage has already been done. I can't really get her to go dark green, and she has very little visible trichs and no smell/terps, which is a bummer, but she has big old pine cone looking buds. We will take her through to the finish line and see what she comes out like. Given I do multi strains on a single feed system I accept that somtimes you get a special girl who is touchy. I kept a clone, so I can always give her another try.

Image

The Zkittles is starting to get chunky, but dam is she a leafy girl...she aint going to be a fun girl to trim. The smell is still strong fruity, blueberry and grape smell with fuel. I may need to de leafy her in a couple weeks if the humidity keeps up because she has so many leafy mould traps.

Image

The Critical Neville is on week 3 and she has just shot up this week. She has tripled or nearly quadrupled since flip. She has lots of the Neville in her, you can see the leaves are super narrow andthey already have visible tichs on the fan leaves...always a great sign.

Image

The little hammer is kinda ugly, but has a strong fuel and fruit smell. She seems happy and is doing her thing. I am going to take some clones of her just incase.

Some great growing here Cave Hill considering the Multi strain grow off one res im guessing. The 9lb hammer i grew was never a big girl but nonetheless a decent smoke sort of grapey iirc.

Cheers Kbag, yeah mate its a multi strain on a single reservoir (100L) hooked up to an autopot system. Just a big SIP bucket system really.

The 9lb hammer is an interesting one, I popped a 5pack of seeds and got 3 girls. I flowered the other two out. One was big and the other small, the small one was potent and had a strong citrus punch smell with the dank musky overtones. the big one smelt liked American cereal, like a honey nut smell. The big one was very potent, the little one was...but I lost her in the house move. This one was the 3rd female I didnt have room to grow out at the time. I'm going to take some cuts because she smells fruity and fuel/gas. Hope she's got some punch to her.

I've been looking for a solid grapey smoke, yet to find it, same with the strawberry terp, havent seen it yet either.

Greeting all, its been a hard week in the grow this week. I recently moved into a rental after selling my own home. And i thought that I would have a decent amount of time before I would have any kind of inspection, disturbance or need to move my grow from its home in a garage under the house...well then on Friday I get a text from the landlord to tell me I need to open up the garage in a weeks time so that they can lay waterproof membrane layer due to new Govt moisture laws....fuuuucckkkk here I am in week 6, with plants that are monsters, stink to high heaven...not to mention a veg tent that has gotten out of control due to my compulsive need to pop new seeds....but obviously in prohibition land its a little hard to explain the discreet details of why this is such a great inconvenience to me, to my new land lord...."yeah sure thing mate, I'll have the space clear for you". But alas all is not lost...luckily I live in a house on my own...so the grow has been moved to a back bedroom. Which now in hindsight is actually a better place for it. The room has a heatpump/AC unit and is much taller than the garage which had about 1mm of space between tent and roof. I was worried about my autopots leaking onto the wooden floors...as I have done this serval times in garages, but I think i have sorted a hack. I have extra large drip trays that the autopots sit in now. I also have reduced my reservoir to 30L encase there is a leak. Obviously the tent has the second bottom layer for leaks, but those arent trust worthy. I could switch to hand watering, but i like the autopot system when it works well, as I an be lazy and life gets in the way of watering.

Image

But F me..this move has taken a huge amount of time. The night I moved my flower tent, I was working from 9pm to 1am. I had to do it under the cover of night for clandestine reasons. The dam plants stuck up my back yard in the process. The Sonic was about 7ft tall sitting in the wheel barrow, and couldn't fit through a doorway, so it got mangled a lot and we lost a couple limbs in the process...Oh and I accidentally drought stressed her, when my autpots failed and I came in and the coco was bone dry and leaning from the weight of the plant ahhhhhhhh yeah fun times. She sitting in her new home now and could be worse...could have lost her all together.

Image

The Zkittles is going well, she smells beautiful, to me its very much reminiscent of blueberry terps. She is getting some big chunky old bunds on her too. She was fine in the move. Nothing phased her

Image

The ARC has come around a little, bust is still to light green, very easy to spot in the photo. She hasn't really produced a tone of trichs yet or odour so yeah thats a bummer. But who knows how plants may progress. I moved her our from directly under the light and she is way happier. The Critical Neville is the big lanky girl bottom right. Her main stem got bent in the move, she her the roof when moving her because shes about 190cm on the ground. I taped her up and crossed my fingers.

Image

The hammer is ticking along, she is the smallest plant in the room, but she has been stable and was easy to move haha which was nice.

Image

Well I'm shattered after moving all these tents and plants. My flower tent was pain to put together because all the labels on the poles wiped off, and they need a particular order. It was like playing stoned rubix cube trying to find the right poles. I took the opportunity to properly label each pole, so next time I have an inspection ....which without doubt will come...it super easy to put the bugger back together again. Its good I got this out of the way now. Because the new setup is much easier to hide in a hurry and doesn't involve having to move plants from a garage very visible from the road.

Alright...I think I have vented enough now. Time to smoke some ganja to remind me the love of the game & the reason we take the risks we take.

Greetings all,

So we just coming into week 7 (52days) and its been another week of challenges with this grow. After previously moving the grow, I received a call to say I had contractors back to install a bathroom fan...the bathroom is right next to the bedroom with the grow. Soooo once again under the cover of night I had to moved the whole lot back down to the garage. This took another 5hrs total pronbably...but whos counting. Another couple of late nights and yet another relocation. The moving is hard on mature plants late in flower. We also had severe humidity conditions, so I got some bud rot happening, I managed to catch it early and get some extra fans on the dead spots in the tent. The main objective is to reach harvest, its been frustrating having to disturb these girls, but security reasons kind of trump everything.

Image

The sonic is so big its about as wide as a fridge, so a bunch of the tops got bent and broken...but she seems to hanging in there. She has dropped almost all her leaves. One of her stems got broken, so I dried it out and just smoked a bowl...it was super early only 48days, but the bong rip of it kicked liked a donkey, gave me full belling ringing buzz that was debilitating for a couple of minutes where I couldn't really move...now I had been smoking week for about 5hrs straight before...so its not a true test. I'm interested to she what she's like with a few more weeks on her. But Im already impressed.

Image

The Zkittles has turned into a chunky girl. The stems can't keep the main coals up due to the weight and size. She's leafy, but still smells fantastic. Her buds are pretty, but I lost one of the main coals due to bud rot, she was in one of dead spots. And the bud turned to the marshmallow hell of rot, always hurts to cut those off. Anyway I got a fan on her there does not appear to be anymore rot. I also removed a bunch of leaves for airflow. I am going to have to harvest soon if this humidity keeps coming back.

Image

Image

The little hammer has been a tough little plant and put up with everything pretty well. She has the ducks foot tri leaf trait going on you can see. The buds are very OG like, smaller strawberry like buds, they smell really fuelly and potent.

Image

The poor ARC has had a tough run. She got beat up in the move. She was also in the dead spot and I had to cut away one of her coals and give her a de leaf for airflow. She's not had the best time in flower.

Image

The Critical Neville is doing surprisingly well. She got a flush as i put them all on straight water now. Then realized she is 2 weeks behind the other plants in the room. So I put her back on her own feed and tank. She might have to be pulled early due to a a future flat inspection. but I want to get her as late as I can before having to pull her.

Greetings all, I just worte a huge message and lost it, due to some computer glich. So I'll keep this short.

here we are in week 9 and its harvest day today for the Sonic, ARC and Zkittles.

The sonic had issues and got fried late in flower. Even though she looks super ugly the buds underneath are solid. 2 days ago she still ahd clear trichs which is crazy, since she looks burnt to a crisp. All her leaves got fired, leaving just the buds.

Image

The zkittles came out great. Im really impressed with her for a free seed. She throws huge weighty chunk buds and smells like grape and blueberry.

Image

The ARC had a tough grow she was never really happy. Just happy to get her to the end, she had little terps and the buds sites never produced a lot. Interesting to see what the smoke is like.

Image

Now I just have the little hammer and the Critical Neville to finish up. The CN is about 2 weeks Away from finishing. However due to a flat inspection at the end of this month I am going to have to pull her next week so I can dry her in time to pack away.

So here's the last 2 plants in flower. The hammer is on the left and the critical Neville on the right. I am going to let them both go for another week longer.

Image

You can see the haze genes in the lanky Critical Neville. She has amazing trich coverage, its got a sweet floral scent with a funky finish. I just gave her a bit of a de lead and supported her.

Image

The little hammer is pretty much done, she has small but really pretty little buds. She smells of fuel and dank. She is a bit of squid like looking plant with arms going everywhere.
