@Marcus buds look lovely Buddy. Love the tric pics too! How long you gonna wait to harvest going by trics
Hi Afton. :thanks:

Looking at them, the cali o needs a week or two and my strain is there or thereabouts cooked enough for me. :idn:

I may just have them down at the weekend anyway, hang them for a day or two then start the fermenting process.

(See here viewtopic.php?f=89&t=13702 )

I think taking them ripe and when most psychoactive is probably a bonus. The way I look at it is the only bulk that comes towards the end of flower is the hardening and swelling of the ovules, no more compounds are produced, so pound for pound the levels of psychoactive compounds (for example - THC percentages) will be dwindling as that mass is gained. Cloudy/amber dope means them compounds have started degrading and not what I like or want.

And I can save some electrickery money to buy sweeties with. :oik!:

But :idn: it works for me... Fermented dope and hash is where I live now.

Take it easy dude!

Day 50 of 12/12 for this pair.

I was going to kill them, but I'm going to do it on Monday now, give them some time to say their goodbyes to their friends.

:ak:

I killed em. I've got Monday afternoon free now, so I can get them wrapped up and ready for fermenting then. :oik!:

Looks like she were trying to keep her genes stayin' alive... BANANAMAN!

My strain stinks of Lilt, like someone has shook a can up and opened it in your face when you rub her... Starting to get undertones of Play-doh too. I likey. :morning: Shame about the nanners, but I'll hold a bit of flower back and have a toot next week and see how far into the universe she takes me.

The Cali O has an orangey citrus smell to it. Very frosty though. Again, i'll save a bit back from the fermenting and have a toot in a week or so and report back.

:oik!:

Don;t look like any seeds on anything, so the nanners in early flower from my strain were nowt to worry about. I am going to run her again and try to nip that in the bud. (if she toots ok, that is).

COBS in the dehydrator on low for a couple of hours, they've been fermenting for 2 weeks now... Time to slow that down and do a weekly dry till they get to normal 60ish RH. They'll be back in the vac bags and shoved in their shoebox again till next week then. Took me 4 weeks to get the last lot dry. I could just dry them now, but slowly slowly and the monkey gets caught. :oik!:

The Cali O is holding onto it's citrus smell, the MauiWaui cross had lost it's pineapple funk and is now very woody and herbal.

I am going to run the Maui again, yes it chucks nanners but there's no seeds in anything. :idn:
I had a quick dried toot and it makes me very talkative.
A chatty sativa type of high. I needed a few beers to take the edge off her.

She'll go for 8 or 9 weeks for those folks who don't like the up though. :oik!:
