Re: Time to stick one in the dirt.
Hi Duke.
I'm using an old 50mm lens superglued to a plain glass filter, backwards on the front of an old DSLR with a little torch I hold above the bud for lighting as I have to crank the aperture right tight to get a decent focal plane...
It works along the lines of an 'extension tube' (easiest way to describe it), saved my buying any tubes by using old kit I had knocking around.
I used to own a couple of decent Nikon macro lenses, but sold them all with my pro kit when I stop working for the newspapers.

Re: Time to stick one in the dirt.
It's a 1.2m x 1.2m.
I'd have a couple more plants in there normally, but had more males than planned and killed a couple of weaklings and problem children.

Re: Time to stick one in the dirt.
No worries dude.
My 315w cmh covers the tent well on it's own, I probably only use 1m2 of the floor space though. I don't like plant limbs up tent walls etc, and like to give them a little space for airflow too.
4 plants in 11L pots is perfect for me in there with no real veg time either (3/4 weeks). If I have more plants in there, then I have started to chop them down to 5 or 6 branches and use 6L pots.
Edit - I use a Sunsystem 315w shade too...
