I was looking at my autos tonight thinking, they look a little messy. Soooo, I tool my time to level them off a little. Some branches were bunching together too much, some reaching for the light and some not, so I gave them bud points a little lower a bit of a chance. I pulled a couple down with clips and training wire, into blank space, then super cropped the reaching ones down to level the canopy. Don't want to do too much training at this point with an auto, but they looked a little messy and I need to get used to my training. I've heard she's a good yielder so if I treat her right and with love she may just pay me with some lovely bud. The branches are soft enough so I went for it to batter them down a little.

I also go around and take a few lower bud sites off. I am starting to find my own stlye and what I've started to so is taking ff only a part that will actually flower and no leaves around it, this is in the theory any fan leaves or sugar leaves are there to feed photons, being a plants food that's what i want.

Anyway, happy growing.

These are some right strong genes I reckon. The tops I cropped over have perked up already, what a difference a day makes.

Any MULCH ideas anyone? Or cover crop? Mmmmm 🤔🤓🧐

A quick update.

These autos recovered so quickly to any bending over at the top of the plant and LST. If these are to my taste and do what they say on the tin then I'll be well happy to try these again or do a photoperiod run.

I opened up the door to these to a sound of a leaf repeatadly wacking the fan blades, so they had grown into the light a little.

Ill be dancing :barmy:  :barmy: when these are ready! No buds in my jars, so a slightly quicker dried one will be better than nothing at the moment  Pretty much what you'd get off the street anyway ey

Oh and still on the mission still to find a good mulch (it's GMO's fault for mentioning it lol Thanks dude) Looked up one strawzee or something and one similar. I am not sure about the barks as often they use chamicals :ak:

Although I have had a good idea, maybe another thread to come on this :oik!:

Hey,

It's been a while, 4 and a half weeks to be exact whoops. A lot has changed since then. They've stretched right into the light which is up and hung with zip ties as hugh as it can in the tent which still enough head room.

The one plant seems more like the genetics from the photoperiod Euforia, it has a slight swirl of bud forming up its main stem. Stretched a little more sativa like. Whilst the other is a shorty, I've had to place it on something the raise it up a plant pots height to equalise the canopy a little.

Today I opened up the tent and the aroma is the nicest smelling sweet skunk. Lovely 😍

I have been playing with my USB camera and got a few close up's. It's difficult! You need a steady hand.

They all look very milky to my under a normal loop too. I am expecting they will bulk out over the next week or two anyway,

I've been steeping some banana skins to get some late flowering potassium into my auto flowers too:

I threw in some other goodies as a little experiment to see if I can make a short time little fiertiliser for later flower as a last kick.

I also top dressed with a very small amount of frass and malted barley powder, as a last little bit of a boost.

Just plain water with the occaisional Mammoth P innoculent, after I have given my steeped banana peel of course, straight up to harvest

Well we live and we learn;

What I thought was previously salt build up around the edge of my pot was actually a load of broad mites. After checking my trichomes again last night I found some on the upper leaves, so they must have slowly worked their wauly up. From what I know the brix level is high enough for them not to cause massive damage.

I wandered why I had slow growth :bang head:

They have certainly stopped filling out (that I learned from my last grow, I left it too long and it got bit of bud rot in the jars) so no new growth spurts or new formation of any new trichomes either.

So tonight, chop chop! I should have noticed sooner and dealt with them. I could have ordered some nematodes. But I'm actually rather happy about this because I now know how to deal with this in the future and also what to look out for.

I have heard 👂 hi heat (from @Keeno post about it years ago) kills them but I also heard anything colder than 10 degrees and they die. Its about that or lower right now at night, so, what I plan is to keep my temps low and hang it all up. Hopefully the buggers 🐛 will die off and I won't get any infestation in the jars.

I need this smoke! With some of what I've been getting recently, I need some of DIY.Rik's organic loveliness.

They smell bloody gorgeous so it would be ashame to waste them.

If not, its hash time!!!!

Chope chop.

Little mites :ak: :ak: :ak: I'll be ready for you next time.

I have some nematodes on order for my remaining plants and I seem to have that all under control right now. Anyway.

These plants smell AMAZING, you can tell they have a origional super skunk genetic, its smells beautiful. Really strong skunk aroma with a sweet hint to it. Can't wait to give this a try although picked a little early, I don't think I'd of got much more out of them as the mites had started to take a copmplete infestation in this tent.

I have just hung them straight up, they seem to be ok despite the stupidly high humidity, I found my handy de humidifier out and Have that on the floor collection the little moisture droplets out the air for me.

Won't be long hopefully as my jar is almost out. I'll have to start diving straight into it unfortunately

I keep taking 10 minutes every day to check them and take away and bad leaves. I have some trim drying off on the radiator, may get a little hash even if it's just a few bongo's, it's better than nothing rihght now.

Happy growing :bye: :puff puff:
