So somehow I missed posting about harvest! I harvested a while back, on April 12 to be exact! Sorry it took me so long!
The harvest of the Blue Dream was way better than the Pineapple Express. I have about 45g trimmed and dried - not much compared to what some of yous are hauling in but enough for myself, and I am happy with it!

Having now smoked both of them, I prefer the Pineapple Express, both in taste as well as in effect. I find them both fairly similar, very uplifting - to the point where they act like a coffee after a meal! Both kind of giggly.

I was struggling a bit with the trimming of the Blue Dream - it had loads of small leaves that weren't sugary - I totally should have trimmed them before drying, it was really hard to get them out after drying and I think the flavour and smoking smoothness is suffering from them being in there. I'm still learning!

This grow got me hooked! Hooked on gardening! And on weed again! It might just be that I'm a newbie and that I now get to smoke regularly again but it's just not hitting me as hard as some of the street shit! It is mellow I know what went in there, and I can still function even if I smoke a joint on my own. I made some cakes with the trim and it was gorgeous! I shared it with some friends and they thoroughly appreciated the effect of some cannabinoids in these crazy times! This is what I have been missing for a long time! Thanks to you for helping me get it done. There are a lot of things I learned and that was the point of this first grow!
1. Growing is easy - this plant is a monster! Growing without making mistakes and to the full potential of the plant is hard - really hard!
2. Watering in soil is difficult.
3. Using soil is easy but once something isn't right it seems impossible to figure out what it is and to fix it!
4. It probably was Ca deficiency!
5. I potted up too early
6. I am not sure about biobizz nutes
7. It's much easier to do lst on a topped plant!
8. Figuring out when it's time to harvest is not straight forward
9. My light is shit I want an invisible sun when I grow up!
10. Thank god for carbon filters
11. Relax, it's going to be ok.
12. Knowledge is good but it only gets you to a certain point. Some things just rely on experience (e.g. 2. and 8.)
13. This is an amazing plant - smoking it balances your brain, growing it balances your life!

Very nice haul Weedabix. Fair play to you.

I never got on with biibozz nutes when I was in soil. They are strange in the fact they will often need both parts to solve an issue but theres no set amounts. I'd recommend old timers plant magic for soil, one part feed for veg and flower and I found them much easier to use.

Soil is a pain in the ass tbh, as you say issues are harder to spot, fix and take longer to do so. I found the opposite of coco worked best for me when growing in soil. In coco I'm always aiming to load my lants up. Given there is nothing in the coco it's very easy through process of elimination to work out what a issue is. In soil I prefer to just under feed, I'm not saying keep em yellow, but by not going to strong you can again work by process of elimination when problems arise.

Really nice grow mate, I'm happy you got the bug for it. They green will get better and stronger the longer the cure

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you all for taking an interest in my grow! It's so nice to know that some experienced growers are taking the time to look at what I am doing every now and then! I think this is what sets GR420 apart from some other forums!

2 plants in my 60x60
- yeah, 60x60 is small - I think that's another thing I learnt: more space is better but it's so hard to restrict yourself to fewer plants! Especially now that I don't quite know what sort of strain I want!

Love the home made drying box
- thank you flip! I was hoping to use some soldering carbon filters to use it outside of the tent but it was too smelly! I need to find a good way of shutting the lid tight without duct tape!

Thanks so much Keeno and thank you for all the hard work you put into this community! It means a lot to me! My current grow is coco and I like it - in the long run, I would love to make my own soil but I just don't have the space for it now!
