A toothpick is a totally different shape, normally a point at one end and a flattened end on the other :

Cocktail sticks have a round cross section and are generally pointed at both ends....

You can certainly use a cocktail stick as a toothpick but serving up food on a toothpick probably isn't the best....

LOL, this is one of those things that everyone gets mixed up.....
I have a container just like hers that say toothpicks and they’re round just like hers . Literally no difference . Google both and see what pops up under images lol

I'll bet the cocktail sticks are bigger than a toothpick. If you put them side by side. That would be the only difference. And if your the manufacturer and selling millions of them. That would be a BIG difference. 8-)
