I read it as sage rider - someone who rides wise people.

Sage ridder sounds like someone who gets rid of wise people.
Well there's an uninteresting story behind that. I was working at an engineering school. when i first got online I worked at russell sage
laboratories, was a D&D player and a MTG player So Sage appealed. I also was well a biker I had a 1950's Indian my grandfather and i built from parts and bikes from 50 to 53. So sage rider was the idea but the closest name i could get online was sageridder. After that I just kept it for simplicity and continuity. But I mostly like Sage.
Anyone that has time for drama is not gardening enough.
