I've wanted to grow peyote for years now, partly for the challenge and partly for... the other part of peyote. Looks like theyre a nightmare to get going though, maybe I'll have to have a look around again.

I've had this Lophophora williamsii for more than 20 years and growth is very slow, but easy to maintain - started with one button and more gradually appeared. I think you can buy them legally in UK, probably easier than trying to grow from seed, as I heard it can be a bit tricky? I see them on eBay. I got mine from a stall at botanical gardens:

A decent amount of these will be harvested later

@IMO Yeah me and a friend are growing them.
We got the seeds from a guy that went over to Syria i think it was and he had a bunch of seeds with him back home.
Gonna be interesting to see if we get anything out of them flowers later or how much we can collect.
