Josh's sea of cheese

Post by Josh »

Strain- Triple Cheese

Breeder- Barney's Farm

Medium- coco, drain to waste

Pot size- 1 gallon (4 liter)

Unnecessary but works awesome- co2 controlled by titan monitor with light sensor and titan regulator

Nutrients- GH grow, micro and bloom. Flora series. Pk 0/10/10 in flower

Lights- (left side) custom aluminum frame with 5x invisible sun ish120 boards and 4 2700k ebay led strips. The invisi panels are wired in series, and are adjustable from 60-320 watts

Flood tables- real simple, just some 2x4 around the sides and 3/4 inch plywood on bottom. I used pond liner to make it waterproof. Tables are pitched toward one corner where the drain hole is

The 4 led strips are powered by an hlg185h-24a driver and max out at 180 watts. These have heatsinks and computer fans to aid with cooling

Right side- Lush Lighting Dominator 2xxl full spectrum. IR and uv diodes also, this light really does make some frosty buds. Can either have at 300 or 600 watts

Ok so I've been wanting to run a sea of green for a while, less time between harvests is what I'm aiming for
A true sog would be 3x the amount of plants I have and no veg, but I would need a few mother plants and more secure location for that to happen 😂 so 18 plants it is

I went ahead and built a watering manifold from sprinkler parts, and found the drip distributors on ebay for pretty cheap. It does leak a few drops every watering so I zip tied it to the runoff reservoir 👍

I love the halo rings but no way I was dropping the cash for 18 of them 😀 so I made my own ghetto ones out of drip line, some zip ties and screws to make the (legs) more stable

This will be mainly a video diary, here's a few of the setup so far ✌ they've been in the 1 gallons for a few days so I'll be flipping to 12/12 very soon

The idea was to have 4 main tops for each plant, they've been topped once. But 2 or 3 will have to be single colas because I don't have time to top and wait on them 👍 next time I need to make sure all clones are the same size

Plants look even bigger just after one day, they should be recovered from transplant so I'm flipping to 12/12 tonight time to see what happens, tiny plants and big buds is the goal
Let's just call it flower day 1

Co2 at 1500 ppm

Invisi sun boards at 320 watts, dominator set to 600

Dehumidifier set to 50% at lights off, and my new air purifier should be getting installed tomorrow no more bud rot!! deep clean of the room tomorrow
