As im nearly wrapped up one diary i thought i should start another. I will do my best to avoid the term "organic" except in reference to bottle labels ie "organic nutrients", as the term organic tends to make one think the end product will be organic which in the EU it needs to be planted in the ground to fit the "organic" stamp. So these wont be "organic" plants but you may see me refer to "organic nutrients". With that out the way lets drop some strain data
One of the most beautifully colored, flavorful and potent indica dominant strains, Granddaddy Purple (GDP) has won numbers awards since hitting the mainstream in 2003. Originating in California, this strain is a result of crossing Purple Urkle and Big Bud. These seeds will produce big-leafed, bush plants with tight node spacing and brilliantly purple flowers. Granddaddy Purple tastes and smells like sweet wine grapes and wild berries. This is a great medical strain for killing pain, easing nausea, inducing sleep and calming moderate to severe anxiety.
Indoor production 450 - 500 gr/m2
Indoor flowering 60 - 65 days
Type Indica
Genetics Purple Urkel x Bigbud
Feminized Yes
CBD 0,3 %
THC 25 - 35%

And then the setup run down
As the title says ill be trying to run eco friendly, this kinda means a couple of things. Mainly that im gonna be cheap as fork at every turn, low watts, low feeds, old bottled nutrients laying around and also trying to harness some natural benefits like companion plants as a cover crop and as IPM (integrated pest management)
Current lighting Is Invisible Sun LED ISH150 Pro
https://invisiblesunled.co.uk/collectio ... ung-lm301b
This beast is insanely over powered for starting plants so its at about 80cm from pot height and dimmed down to about 60w (i also like to tuck the younger plants under that shadow of larger more established plants till they adjust as the light is seriously intense)
Current space is just a cupboard no fans, no intake or outtake 65x75x140cm
and as mentioned a mix of nutes if needed; PM grow, canna bio flores, PM pk, epsom salt etc
i guess i should show you the plants....
we have 2 out of the 3 well away, the 3rd was a bit behind so only got potted up yesterday so she was left out of the pics, the clover cover crop is taking well i think, but ive not done it before so heres hoping
im thinking about popping some chives into the final pots which these will move into eventually. im thinking 20l each and ill get the cover growing in them over the next week or so....
any thoughts, tips and or advice always welcome
glad to see you're going for it and trying something new
