I hereby start my first Grow Diary. I hope this is the right thread for this. First of all I apologize for my English, it's not the best and also a lot of Google translator, but I hope you understand everything :)
I start my first diary with some clones that I got from a friend. He had already repotted them in 0.5L pots and they were around 2.5 weeks old. I put the clones in the big pots after 10 days (the day before yesterday). My medium needed these 10 days to rest. So the plants are now 4 weeks old and in their fifth week of vegetation.
Needless to say, this is my first grow with clones, but I'm very confident.
Plants:
Back row: 3x French Macaron – T.H. seeds
(Gelato 33 x French Cookies) – 90cm-110cm – 9 weeks – mostly indica
Middle Row: 4x 24K Gold – DNA Genetics
(Kosher Kush x Tangie) – 9-10 weeks – 60/40 indica/sativa
Front Row: 3x Black Apple Hitchcock – T.H. seeds
(Grape OG x Sour Apple IBL) – 120cm-160cm – 8-9 weeks – 60/40 sativa/indica
Like I said, all clones
I didn't choose these strains myself. I had a little disaster in my tent and a friend helped me out with these clones. But I always wanted to have the 24K. And the other two strains looking very good too.
Week:
5th week of vegetation
Pots:
the day before yesterday from 0.5L to 11-14L standard square pots with about 10-12.5L medium each
Medium:
I've been working with Living Soil for a while now. My medium consists of two thirds soil (BioBizz Light Mix) and one third coconut substrate (BioBizz Coco). In addition, there is 12% of a Living Soil “ready-to-use mix” called „Florian’s Living Organics”, ‚FLO‘ for short, which is made in Germany.
I'll tell you more about Florian's Living Organics in the next few days. After everything is mixed, I let the mixture sit for 10 days, then it's ready. These 10 days were over the day before yesterday and I was able to repot.
Because I work with Living Soil, I only have to use water, completely without pH correction. And if your tap water is good, you really don't have to do anything except let the water sit for 24 hours. However, our water here is so calcareous that I often get severe wilting of the leaves in the end of flowering. The amount of lime in the water closes the receptors for potassium. That's why I set up an osmosis system. I then process the osmosis water with CalMag from BioBizz. However, this is the first time I'm starting to do this.
Lighting:
Currently a "Hydroca Hobby 416" in which 3 light spectra can be switched separately. Together the three spectrums have 258W. I have the white and the blue spectrum on for vegetation, both together 172W. The distance to the largest plant is about 45cm. It lights up for 18 hours a day.
Tent:
The dimensions are 120x120x200cm, a shop's own brand here. Nothing special, but with a white reflective foil, supposedly 100% PAR reflection.
Air:
Exhaust air with 360m3/h and currently one fan. The exhaust air is so large because it is still connected to a second tent. I currently have around 25-26 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 45-55%.
Everything looks good so far. Only the bottom pairs of leaves are all wilting, but from what I've seen so far this seems to be normal for clones. What do you say to that?
If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask. :)
Let's see how my first diary goes!
The next one is already being planned, with GC Seeds from points store.
