PK/MK Ultra X Lime 1 Bx by Brandon Rust

Yet another of Brandon Rusts Lime 1 backcrosses, this brings the Purple Kush/Master Kush Ultra into use. Other than the abbreviation, I imagine the PK/MK Ultra side was chosen to bring funk into the strain (i.e. I’m hopeful this is the strain he says resembles the GMO cut). Let’s see what happens and how this PK/MK Ultra flowers out.

My standard protocol (today) is to soak the seeds in water the night before, then place into rapid rooters the following day. These seeds will be germinated under a CLW SolarSystem 550, 40% power in my 18/6 veg area. Once clones are ready for flower, they will begin their cycle in a 2X4 tent under a CLW SolarSystem 550 at 50% power. Day 21 of flower, I will increase wattage 10% every couple days until 100% (400W) is reached.

All of this assumes I’ve sprouted something…and I haven’t…so I’ll try to germinate five seeds on July 9 (not my normal full moon). And another thing…only five seeds were included in the pack. I’ll keep ya posted on the efforts.

Well, wasn’t patient enough to wait 15 days for the next full moon, but I’m calling it 3 of 5 ATM. Might get one more so I’ll give it a few days before I transplant the rest. Makes sense using floater-tech (2/5 seeds did not sink in water after soak)…

Giving up on the 4th and 5th seed to pop, I’ve transplanted the three PK/MK Ultras into one gallon pots. It’ll be a few months til these are cloned and sex tested.

Just a quick note regarding an earlier mistake I made. The seed pack comes as two vials of five so ten seeds total. Earlier, I had thought Bokashi Earthworks was gettin skimpy...but I found the second vial yesterday while digging through some other seeds to pop. I'll prolly germ a few more of these...will keep ya posted when I can.

Added two more PK/MK Ultras and transplanted 7/27. Again, it’ll be a few months till they’re cloned and sexed.
