Ok, ok... anyone who knows me knows I’m not the best at diaries but I’m gonna try better this time.
I am thinking of trying out my lovely vipraspectra 900 that I won on this amazing forum. I have never used led’s so any advice will be very much appreciated.

KIT.
Hydrolab 2x1x2m tent.
600w Maxibright digital ballast.
250w MH bulb.
600w HPS bulb.
Vipraspectra 900 led panel.
Rhino pro 150x600 carbon filter.
RVK 150 L1 extraction fan.
Passive intake.
2 x Hygrometers.
11Ltr pots and saucers.

Old Timers grow(if needed), bloom, pk4-8, Mg and plant magic cal-mag.
Great white.
Bio-rhizotonic.

4 x Mexican Airlines autos from Fastbuds.
1 x Auto seed from my collection.

Ok, I’m sure I’ve forgotten somethings but that’s the basic setup.
I still have to buy the soil and I don’t want to get biobizz light mix as it’s full of crap so was thinking of getting canna pro.... any suggestions???

Hello mate, I am in as well.
I am not sure about soil as I only used Canna Terra but it's a good one even not hot for seedlings. I would just add some more extra perlite to it. What are your plans for the lights? Using hps and led side by side?

I only used ionic in soil tbh but with led I had calmag issues too. Sorry I can't be more help, packed in soil

Nice one Glynne glad to see a diary from you even if you do not use the led. Summer is here so temps prob will not allow you do this. A hps above the auto's and the led for side lighting would smash it. I used the viparspectra above 3 sour Aliens and my cob as side lighting in my cupboard. I ended up doing rather well considering the plants looked not to well i am sure if they had been looked after better the results would have been amazing.I got 2oz of one i took down at 9 weeks and 8oz of the other 2 at 11 weeks. They were small plants but it was what would normally had been fluff was nice mature nugs that i think made all the difference.

So 2 bags of soil is ordered (Canna Bio Terra plus) which i should get tomorrow and a bottle of biorhizotonic as well but that wont come for a few days yet, but things are getting ready.... Im gonna fill pots and dose with great white and water them when i soak my beans so that will give them 48hrs or so to get ready for the sprouts.
Tent is all clean and tidy, I was thinking of starting with the led and seeing how things go.....i can always swap out if i want at a later date.
