Sam does Barneys Farm LSD in Coco :)

Post by Samwise Gamgee »

Morning Folks,

My first grow diary in GR420, although I have been growing a while now and have done other diaries, I am sure some of you have seen my previous diaries, but for those that haven't, I grow in coco and use a recirculating 4 Pot Wilma :)

I will try and include as much information as possible and any hints and tips I have picked up since I started growing in coco :)

I will be doing 4 x Barneys Farm LSD fem seeds, I have popped 5 for the minute and will grow out the best looking 4.

I will detail the equipment and nutrients that I will be using for veg below:

75cm x 75cm x 1m BudPro Tent
T5 96w Flo Lamp
Canna Coco Pro
Canna Start
Canna Rhizo
Ionic HW Grow nutes
RAW Kelp
RAW Humic acid
RAW Amino Acids
Ph Down
Liquid Silicon

I will also be using my trusted BlueLab EC & Ph pens :)

So for germinating the seeds I usually soak the seeds in a glass of water over night, if you are using older seeds you can add rhizo, the kelp extract will help to soften the seed casing. The next day I usually put them in a damp paper towel and in a Tupperware container somewhere warm. The next day I put them in 2 litre pots in coco :)

So 3 sprouted nice and clean, the 2 others still had the seed casing attached, this seems to happen sometimes, whatever way you plant the seeds. I usually just spray the the seed with water a couple of times during the day too loosen it, which is what I did this time and within a couple of hours the seeds casing had dropped off :)

The seedlings are just on plain water for the next week, they are in 2 litre pots, so generally I will spray them daily but water every other day, until they are more established :)

I'll get a photo up in the next day or so, hope everyone has a good one :)

OI oi!

A Gamgee diary on GR420!

Really looking forward to this, in particular how you use the other Raw additives. The omina and yukka recently saved my grow so im very interested to use more in the range. Im sure this will be a good one mate and the strain sounds very cool.

Good to have you along for the journey fella, I will do some detailed posts about what I use and why and when, as I go along, the RAW additives are a cracking range, I generally always have to hand the below:

RAW Omina
RAW Kelp
RAW Humic Acid
RAW Fulvic Acid
RAW Yucca
RAW Nitrogen

They are the ones I have found most useful, some of them I rarely use like the nitrogen, but if I get any yellowing in veg, then I will just add a smidge of it to the reservoir, to green the plants back up :)

Nice one Sam, I'll pull up a chair next to ya stash box .

I used the ionic coco feeds and loved it, only thing though was I went through the 25l bottle in flower (and that was 2 plants over 12 week of flower) not including 2 week flush, other than that it was great that's why I carried on with the Ionics range in water (use a fair bit less where I don't mix up every day like).

Anyway all the best with it..

Happy Friday folks,

So I have a mutant plant in my flowering tent at the minute, and wanted to include her flowering in this diary. I am not really sure what strain she is, its a toss up between Dinafem Cheese or Incredible Bulk.

So last grow I planted 4 auto seeds, 2 x dinafem XXL cheese, 1 x dinafem XXL Blue Amnesia, and 1 x Incredible Bulk auto. One seed didnt sprout, so I was left with 3 auto's. or so I thought :)

So two flowered fine, under 400w on 24/7, but the mutant below didnt flower at all, just kept vegging. At one point I was going to throw her away, but after harvesting the other two plants, I decided to try and flower her under 12 x 12 @ 400w. And she started flowerinfg up nicely.

She is now 3 weeks into flower, and is looking like she could be a proper monster :)

Hey Apsie :)

She isnt the pretty plant I have had tbh, she has been on flowering nutes for about 11 weeks lol, hence the yellowing in the older growth.

When I flipped her I kept her on flowering nutes, but added a smidge or RAW Nitrogen to the reservoir, which helped green up the newer growth.

This could be a plant PB for me, she hasnt been over 400w all grow either :)
