Re: Growers Choice.nl Frosty Gelato in soil, Sponsored by Germination Station
Right, I feel I owe everyone an explanation
These girls are currently in 80x80 under 250w dimmed to 210w. They are pretty much ripe for flip, once the middle fluff has a chance to beef up a little (probably a week would do)
But there is a 1.2x1.2m space they were waiting for... this is still 5 weeks away at the earliest (see candy shop diary)
So I have the following options
Let them beast out for the next 5 weeks may be up to 7 weeks
I can flip them in the 80x80 in a week and then add 120w invisible kit so there is 370w total or 120w ish per plant
Or flip in the 80x80 in a week and add 250w invisible kit so total 500w but as this will be double the light needed for the space and I imagine the panels will need to ve on the ceiling to deal with the light stress
I'm kinda leaning towards the last option as we see a lot of "commercial" growers across the pond having a lights miles away from the plants canopy
Please wade in with ya thought
After the abuse I hummed like I'd been playing with skittles... I'm excited to get these flipped now so please say option 3

Looking at these I would flip now, I dont think you will keep them small enough in the next 5 weeks and will have humidity issues in that space.
I would just add the 120w and flower these in the 80x80cm tent mate :)

I say let em go a few more weeks.. I couldn't imagine them 7 weeks from now in veg. But if it was my tent id flip as I don't have the room you do.

In theory you should be able to double your amount of light during flower. If they are staying in where they are now id possibly go another week or flip now, But i would def be adding at much light as possible.

Thank you everyone for your input!
I've been going over this again and again but it wasn't till I saw them just now and saw their recovery that it seems we have our answer!

So they pretty much look like they are flipped anyway!
They are screaming "I'M RIPE", so I've set the timer and tomorrow the go for that long sleep
I also did a little reading and "remembered" these are 70% sativa Dom. Let's hope it's not too late
And some stats
Plants are 9 inches from the top of the pots, light is 23 inches from the canopy (this will be reduced tomorrow night) and I have 18 inches from the light to the ceiling

They look like a picture of healthy mate! Very well done. Mon the flip too! I think it was about time to do it personally. Couldn't see them being vegged for another 5 weeks! Just do lots of LST, pinching, make sure temps are as close as possible during lights on/off
