Re: Old cheese auto grow
Just been in the groom and the two front ones are ready to start flushing now.
It would seem vitalink finale is actually making a difference, according to the manufacturer it’s a pk feed with some trace elements and no nitrogen.
The interesting thing is that since saturday which was 3 days ago the 3 that had the finale are showing more brown hairs than before but also the leafs are discolouring and yellowing, I guess this due to still feeding on p & k but not having any nitrogen so the plants are using up all the available nitrogen in the leafs.
The plant I started flushing 3 days ago is still looking green and going to take a while to flush properly and get rid of the green.
Will be interesting to see how the flush goes on the other 3.
Just waiting on one more plant now, the back left one, once she’s done the flush will commence.
Hopefully by the weekend

Beautiful girls!!! Amazing jobVador wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 11:12 pmHere are the girls in all there glory, the one on the right closest to the camera is the finicky one, you can see all of her discoloured growth. Been a bit lazy with them lately, need to get in there and cut some more fan leafs back.
The one above her is practically finished so going to leave her be for now, the other 3 are being drained tomorrow and tanks are being topped up with finale on its own, will give them a week or two on finale and then start flushing.
Little brown hairs in all the smaller buds now, just waiting for the bigger ones to catch up.
Got a bit of fox tailing going on in places too.

Re: Old cheese auto grow
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the kind comments @Momma bear.
Yeah I’m quite happy with how it’s all gone for my first one back, gives me a reasonable target to beat next time as well :-)
This diary is coming to an end now but I have big things in store over the next couple of grows, so stay tuned for some groom upgrades and general improvements all round which should hopefully all help increase yield and overall turn around time
Here’s a little sneak peak of something I’m working on

Turning an 8 tube t5 into 2 x, 4 tube t5’s
Upgrading extraction from 5” to 10” fan and all sorts of stuff will be happening over the next few weeks which I’ll be documenting in the current diary.
Thanks for looking in, please feel free to drop by again

Re: Old cheese auto grow
Today is the day, just having a vape then will be flushing the 3 remaining tanks.
Had a look in the groom and the fox tailing is starting to really take off now so gonna flush and harvest regardless of how the last plant is looking, it’s only the bigger tops that haven’t quite finished but by the time the flush is done they should be looking a little better anyway.
Smells lovely in there though so happy about that, bring on the flush
