Animal Cookies - Day 10 Update:-

Looking like the two new seedling are settling in nicely with the air conditioned apartment and hopefully will shortly be past the point of no return (at least in seedling stage). The original living Animal Cookie is looking much better and I am digging the funky node pattern after the 'fuck up' so it seems like Fate that this should become my Bonsai attempt but I really, REALLY, do not want to commit to a Bonsai grow....

Although if Polly does go for a Bonsai it would be rude of me not to keep her company on what could become a very long journey

Yay, small plants are so much more fun I think and a lot harder to chuck at the sheep as they will just float back with the wind of the Captain ;o)

I reckon it's gonna be a complete nightmare *FAIRY* grow but willing to give it a go and reckon we will learn some new SKILLS along the way for sure.

I have my prime candidate in this previously (not failed but stunted) attempt with a special Animal Cookie Dex's heritage and what better to use for a Bonsai. She basically wanted to be a Bonsai ;o)

I already have a head start as mine is already growing but them is the draws, you have been talking about the Bonsai for a while so if you snooze you loose - not that a couple of weeks will make any difference by the time we get going in a couple of years ;P)

Day 13 Update:-

I have not named them as yet, so this is 'Left':-



And 'Right' - Lazy and unoriginal I know ;o)



They look scraggly etc. but that is from the time spent not under the lights and they have since really tightened up between the nodes since being promoted and the repotting will bury the long stems so not worried. Leaving them be at the moment as the internal fan gently shakes them about so they should produce nice stems by the time they move.

I really like the way I can add and remove the original airing cupboard shelves to adjust plant height etc and I do think being in the same cupboard as the boiler is possibly helping with CO2?

I could probably remove the Jiffy Bag from the Animal Cookies now but they seem to be doing alright and have the dedicated fan in there so gonna leave them be as there is plenty of room etc and I'm still paranoid about losing one cookie already...

A little Lanky but I will be re-potting them into the AutoPots soon (just waiting on the Auto's to catch up a little as the shelf will be moving down etc so want to repot them at the same time).
