Hey @Zipp, I'm good thanks, you?

Trim I'm not looking forward to 😂. It will all get chucked through a bowl trimmer so not to bad. It's a bit ott tbh but I had the clones rooted from the house move so thought fook it, chuck them all under the net.

love this, can 300w in a 4x4 measure up ?? its exciting , nerve racking too, but its beautiful.

it raises so many questions if its successful , will people accept a 300w system for a 4x4 space ? will people pay the high price tag for lesser watts ? is a light that lasts 10 years needed ?

any input from you growers would be appreciated

Plenty will if it does jobby me thinks yes. So what differentiates this led grow light from your others that would warrant it having a more expensive tag "if its successful". Are you using different Samsung lighting chips, drivers or summink like ? :thanks:

More diodes per light allow the light to produce the same amount of light at lower watts I believe is the gist of it. Seems pretty unnecessary at such high prices and the fact that this technology keeps progressing rather quickly and prices keep dropping. Not sure I’d spend that much extra to save a few hundred watts and need to keep the light for ten years to get my value out of it. I’ll probably end up replacing lights every 2-5 years myself just because I’ll be interested in some new tech or something anyways.

Update

The Critical are at day 3 flower. As of day 1 12/12 I introduce PK 13/14, I do this so the minute they start to transition into true flower they have the extra PK available. I've decided to leave the lights where they are as the plants grow into them, I can always move them up. I'm watching for any light stress after it happening in veg with the lights being a bit close. Overall health under the test lights is definitely better, the other plants are not unhealthy but the difference is noticeable, a richer green is about the best way I can describe it. Not long till fluffy bits :barmy:

Feed consists of:

1.25ml per liter Canna coco A and B.
0.25ml Canna PK 13/14
PH set to 6.1.

I'll be defoliating under the net in a week. I don't tend to do this as early as I used to as with a net so low much of the lower growth will push up through the net in the first 3 weeks.

Update - Day 13 Of 12/12

These are well into true flower already. They started around day 6 12/12. Interestingly there are plants under the Invisible Sun lights and a couple under HID, same strain, same feed, same everything, the only difference is the lights, the ones under HID are just in true flower, the ones under LED are a week in front in that respect.

I'm seriously impressed but the X Bar test lights so far, its only early flower but there is no difference in stretch, height, node spacing, anything, between the test lights and the lights next to them. Same growth, amount of tops.

Ill be starting to remove a few leaves as I feed each day, its going to be rammed above the net. I'll be clearing out under the net next week as well. Its a low net so I like to give a couple of weeks before clearing out under it, many tops/growth under the net will stretch through in that time.

Feed currently consists of 1.25ml Canna Coco A and B, 0.5ml Canna PK 13/14, PH set to 6.1.
