Re: 2 Cuttings
They've grown up quick man. Superb work all round. Quite hilarious about the clone mix up, was that a good or bad thing?!
Thanks for the link on vpd, getting into that myself currently, just been using a chart, but that link has some solid information, cheers.

Re: 2 Cuttings
Yes they`ve shot up lots i took cutts from them if its any good I'll do it again, but i also have a few seedlings I've been holding back so plenty of choice. Tbh im not bothered my mate says its a banging strain and im a big fan of the cookie typo strains, well lets say i am from both typo GSC that I've smoked up to now one of which was this at weekendTictok wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 5:59 pmThey've grown up quick man. Yes I've been getting my head around it lots just lately, these have been in bloom last 2 or 3 days now and vpd is well in range atmo during day and night cycles around 0.8 to 1.6vpd which is ideal and humidifier hasn`t evcen been on it was harder keeping it in range vegging 24/7 tbh, that said i can`t see that lasting as they get bigger, but only time will tell though hey.
I've been looking at some cheap but simple smart self watering systems on Chinese E-bay, im thinking i need to get myself one of these and try get in to the whole crop steering thing rocking n rolling, but atmo im just hand feeding letting medium dry right back down to around 15% before feeding again just trying to induce flowering a little faster and keep plants in a generative state, but after 3 or 4 weeks it will be back old school soaking daily to try and get plants back in vegative state then back to generative last 3 weeks, and that's if its at all possible hand feeding which is why i wanna automate it all. But we can all but try, but that crop steering is interesting stuff too Tictok of which vpd is part of jobby.
Anyhow enough rambling im starving, gonna knock a big fry-up for my T. Cheers mate.

Definitely going to get an infrared thermometer to measure leaf surface temperature for the vpd calcs.
Not heard much on plant steering, will check that out. I'm in living soil so it might not make sense although anything to improve conditions has to be good.

Re: 2 Cuttings
I have one of those yes, but i also use smart hygrometers instead which gives you vpd so its close enough, i got 2 for under a tenner on E-Bay., which was a real bargain. I have one hung for ambient room vpd and other at top of canopy just about at leaf height. It just takes maths outa the equation a bit i suppose. PM headed your way.
Its good stuff in fact VPD is all part of the crop steering thing but yes theirs lots more about it all for soil growing online, in fact theirs very little about crop steering in coco i can find online except odd video, but i was gonna follow the rockwool crop steering guide to start and find my own feet what with having a thingi-mi-jig stuck in coco letting me know EC, temps and humidity of the coco i should be able to suss it all out easy enough, but yes i take your point with living soil.

Re: 2 Cuttings
So these are 7 days into bloom now and they're really looking good to me. This week sometime i shall get them out cus theirs no way ill be able to get them out around 2 to 3 weeks into bloom, but yes ill do a bit of defoliation and strip away crap shoots and i shall change out the blue mh bulb for a 250hps (2700k).
Anyhow I've upped feeds to around 2.0 -2.1ec going in top of pots and run off is saying 1.7ec and the coco medium is saying its running at 0.8ec after a fresh feed but by time it comes to watering every 2nd day now the coco grow medium ec is saying around 0.3ec.
Plants have been foliar sprayed twice now with a triacontanol and fulvic acid mixture, once when i flipped and a week later or last night, i shall repeat that next week before dropping that altogether.
Feeds are now Canna A&B, pk9/18 triacontanol booster, fulvic acid and once a week i give a dose of molasses in the fert mix. PH around 5.5 to 6.5.
Its looking all gravy atmo peeps.

Re: 2 Cuttings
Righto... so today @ 10 days into bloom I've removed plants from grow room cus they were mahoosive in that space and it was wall to wall green with even more green and still more. With that in mind I've removed all crap shoots and lollipopped the fuckers too, I've also added a support net, i usually prefer doing all this around 14 days in and it still gives plants time to stretch on through net just enough to support themselves. Long story short they needed doing today a few days or so early. Anyhow jobs a good en. One thing i did notice whilst doing it was they were just about starting to bud up, which im really impressed with, maybe the triacontanol & fulvic foliar has helped with that a bit as I've never done it before then again maybe not, but that along with they were mature cuttings and not seeds, either way its all gravy. I took a load of pictures to show you what's been done. Oh yes i also changed out the 250mh blue bulb for the 2700k red spectrum 250 hps as well. Cheers peeps.
