Re: Simple beginnings
hey bud just something i noticed some of your coco seems to be bone dry mate while other parts are damp it might be nothing but id say when feeding the coco try drenching all the surface this will allow you to see where your coco is in terms of dryness
coco will deal with the heat fine mate aslong as you feed everyday if your using a desk fan to move air about
with the algae remove the top inch or so and replace with fresh coco it happens sometimes mate i do this every grow just to make sure all is well even if it dont look green
atb bud

Re: Simple beginnings
Yeah coco should not be bothered with heat if not over the limits of course. Algae is forming due to the direct light hitting the medium. Once plants are big enough to be shading the pots you will be fine. You can scrape the top layer of algae and replace it with gresh coco.

All have been topped now as well so I'll get another update in tonight
Hopefully she will get used to her settings but there are other options if she doesn't settle by week 5 when I plan to flip em

I hate to sat it but I've gone into overdrive with pest control and removed the larger fan leaves to make the easier to treat
Hopefully they don't become affected but sooner safe than sorry

Re: Simple beginnings
Just some quick pics
You'll notice the soil plant has patches and is looking really bad. I forgot to water her and she wilted in 32c temps. She is on the mend now but my fault completely
