I'm really happy with both even though probably not the best to grow together. I thought the eBay would be more Indica.
At the start I didn't think eBay would do much.
It was very slender and took longer to recover from topping and defoliation.
The gelato is a street fighter. You can do what you want. It keeps bouncing back.
I do have to say that £20 on eBay is looking like money well spent

The Gelato were a prize from here . I'm a winner

Re: Grower's Choice Wedding cake/Gelato and eBay Wedding cake.
I think I've introduced the UVB a bit to soon.
I've got 3 pointed leaves and a couple are drying out.
Apparently I should only be using it for the last 3 weeks..
Lesson learned

What uvb are you using treetrunk. With the uvb you dont need alot per square metre, probably only about 15-20 watts per square meter if that. You need to keep it quite above the canopy so that the ligh angles hit the whole crop. Im not sure what uv device your using but you need something that puts out both uvA and uvB as the plants utilize them together otherwise you may be damaging the plants celles. There have been some small experiments done and some have shown that maybe you dont need to keep the uv light on all the time. Like you said mabe the last 3-4 weeks, but what some of the experiments are showing is you can put the uv on for about 15 mins at light on and 15mins just before lights off. If they respond good to this I suppose you could try increasing it slowly so in the last two weeks your giving it one or two more 10-15mins blasts spread out during the lights on.

Hey @NiGHTMARE it's this one I'm using.
I cocked up with the timings and also had the light. On for too long.
It's supposed to be used for last 3/4 weeks for 2 hours mid light cycle.
I'm going to start using it again next week that will be week 8 of flower.
It's designed to cover a 1.2m tent and mine is 0.80m so I might have to drop the times a bit.

Re: Grower's Choice Wedding cake/Gelato and eBay Wedding cake.
Just changed nutrients and the numbers are 850ppm and 6.1 pH.
Canna a+b,canazym and calmag because of the soft water.
I'll run this till week 8 and then flush.
I'll stick some pictures on later when lights are on.

44 days from flip and starting to get a frosting.
Topped nutrients up and it's running at 780ppm and 6.1ph.
Looking a bit better after me frying them with UV.
Really pleased with both plants and glad I've got clones of both ready to go
