The top dress was the kelp, fish bone and gypsum. On top of that is just a layer of worm castings and haygrumpygrower wrote:Plants are looking awesome Intergajosh. What's that multch you're top dressing?
Not sure which part you were asking about buddy

Re: Josh's multi-strain organic grow
I'm talking about the chippings on top in the pots. Is that straw? I've read about people top dressing with ceder chips to keep pests away. It looked like that's what you were using in those photos.integrajosh wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 11:28 amThe top dress was the kelp, fish bone and gypsum. Oh ok, ya I was using cedar chips before but I added the hay so it would decompose a little more. Give the worms something to eatgrumpygrower wrote:I'm talking about the chippings on top in the pots. Re: Josh's multi-strain organic grow
Watsup growroom

So I have another grow that I'm about to start on the other side of my tent.
I just couldn't fit 12 plants in that small of a space so 3 had to go
Smoke a joint for the chemdawgs
I couldn't bring myself to do it, made my gf chop them

Shitty genetics anyways, I wasn't impressed at all last run
Also, in an effort to combat the pots drying out so quick, I covered them in saran wrap. Hopefully it helps a bit
Added worms that I ordered online for good luck
I'm hoping they'll help to loosen the root bound soil back up, we'll see I guess
So down to 9
all good though
Pics of plants in a few days

Re: Josh's multi-strain organic grow
hey everyone
proper lights off pics today
things are chugging along nicely, the saran wrap seems to be doing the trick and keeping the pots moist for about another day. so all of them except for the weird looking cookie and the cabbage get watered every 3 days now
watered tonight with a bit of recharge and humic acids (europonic)
cbd critical (the cabbage)

cookies 3 ( I love the bud structure of this one, I'll be re-vegging her and keeping clones)

Re: Josh's multi-strain organic grow
After talking to the guys at buildasoil, they recommended I water 5% of my soil volume daily to avoid dry spots and keep the microlife happy
So starting today (even though it's a pain in the ass) I'll be giving these a quarter gallon daily after lights on

Re: Josh's multi-strain organic grow
Miscounted, it's actually been 58 days!

Things are coming along nicely, bought a fancy soil probe to let me know how damp everything is. Watering with about 1/4 gallon every other day
Pics soon
