Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
Yeah I would keep feeding mate, the plant finishing first would still have a weeks clean flush then, with others having 2 weeks. This is just my personal opinion tho mate, if a strain says 8wks I usually feed upto end of wk 7,mostly because if its supposed to be 8 it's usually 9 lol but sometimes it's just a weeks flush without no difference
I hand water now mate because I'm home especially now with all this virus stuff, I used the autopots when we was away at caravan for most of the year, we hoping to do same next year so I'm looking at the alien auto systems, bigger feed lines that don't block, well thats what the slippery salesman said at my local hydro shop lol but I'm not 100% sure if they are better

Thanks @ValleyDragon, I like the look of the Alien Rain myself. Just a little too expensive at the moment.

OK @2-Scoops mate, here are some bud pics from both plants:-
Couple of Side by Side from top of both plants:-

Another Side by side comparison:-

What do you reckon mate?
My gut instinct is to go with another week of feeding as I like them over cooked anyway so should get the best of both worlds?

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
Ones way behind other here @Minty , i`d be putting the 1 with orange pistils on water only feeds now for 2 weeks and if it`s at all possible let other go for another week or 2 till it looks similar to 1 with orange hairs on and then slam that on water only feeds for 2 weeks.
On your idea of letting them go another week before putting them on water only for 2 weeks then yes it maybe an option and then you get best of both worlds.
More blue spectrum light may help ripen them up as should lowering light hours an hour and even raising lights up, basically mimicking onset of winter.

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
OK mate, I have ordered some parts to be able to make a 2nd Res which will allow me to feed them separately so back one will be getting a couple more days of feed while I wait for the bits. In the meantime I will raise the lights up as you suggest.
Couple more pics:-

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
Its up to you Minty at end of shift, but i reckon 2 weeks worth of water for both those and those they would be done, so it maybe an option stasrting both on none ph`ed water now, in fact that`s what i`d do from today myself and it doesn`t really matter iff you have to let one go a few days longer tbh cus they`ll still have plenty of food stored in leaves to feed themselves. But tis your shout but tis what i`d be doing mukka. :) .

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
That sounds good @2-Scoops mate. TBH If one remained in the tent longer than the other, I would have a problem with drying as this would mean having to dry somewhere else and there is way too much stinky bud in this batch to use my usual drying place of under the stairs so kinda need to use the tent which is better anyway as I can temp/humidity control that unlike the cupboard under the stairs.
The 2nd RES/parts will come in useful anyway so not end of the world ordering them. I topped RES up with feed yesterday so will start on the RO water tomorrow. I am only feeding them at 800 EC so the extra day shouldn't really hurt.
You mentioned Non PH'ed water mate? Would I not still be PHing to around 6? Not sure what it comes out naturally so will check but I would have thought PHing would still be beneficial either to bring it into range or deliberately take it out of range if that is what is required?
P.S. I also dropped the lights by an hour as recommended.

Re: Minty - AutoPot Grow - Assisted by 2-Scoops
No @Minty why you don`t ph is cus you don`t wan`t roots taking up anything fert wise from the grow medium, basically you`ll be locking out lots of different ellements of your ferts so roots can`t uptake them and rest that could be taken up will be in lesser amounts and should soon become depleted and used up what with fereding water and none optimal ph.
Tbh its summink ive pondered lots about ph`ing my water at end to summink stoopid like ph3 or ph8 to cause full weight lockout from your medium, which is what your looking for really so plant can use up carbs/food stored in leaves. Ive just not had gonads to risk doing it. Ive never really looked at right ph for causing that and tbh i dont think any ph would cause full weight lockout of everything in your ferts, i might be wrong tis just summink ive pondered over in times gone by. I suppose theirs prolly an optimal ph for locking out most ellements and whats left behind can only be used in lesser amounts, feck knows im just pondering on in my head again lol. Prolly makes no sense at all that last paragrah so ignore it lol. :)
